Wow, that was so painful to watch. I thought they are going to blow the game again with Osuna got caught with a balk and Boston tying the game. Blue Jays is making things tough. So, with Baltimore losing they lead the Wild Card race and 1.5 game ahead of Detroit. How many more games is left this season? I don't think I can handle all this suspense.
Even if Price is in fine form the Sox have already said they're going to hold him back a bit. Be nice if he has on off day, they bring the bullpen in and they have a rough day too.
As I said earlier...today was going to be a good day!
Boston now can't have the top record in the AL and have no control over being the second seed if Cleveland wins. So they Boston don't have much to play for now.
I assume they stick with Price but it will be limited innings. And the 4h of Ortiz ceremonies and last at bat etc etc are going to be all the Sox will be dealing with.
As for Stroman, he's giving up the most runs of the Jays starters in the last 14 games, in that last start.
Good news is Cleveland will have something to play for on Monday if it comes to the Jays needing their help -- home field advantage in their series with Boston.
Also, I don't care if its thinking 2-3 games ahead and they may not get there, but just the thought of playing the cowardly and overrated Rangers will be great. Wipe the smirk off that arrogant manager.
Throw a couple at Odor, as they left it to the end of last game of the last series, at home and with a rookie, to throw at Baustista when the code, if they have a problem with a player, is to get that beaning over with right away, delivered by a vet. They didn't want to get hit in retribution, so they left it until the Jays couldn't do anything in return, especially Odom then throwing at Baustista's head when running the bases.

I wasn't planning on drinking a lot tonight, but the Sox decision making there is gonna send me to drunk town tonight... I absolutely HATE using Kimbrel in non-save situations, he's mediocre at best. Not having home advantage against Cleveland in the ALDS terrifies me.
Anyways, enough of my Sox fan rantings... What a win by the Jays, trying real hard to feel happy for you guys for taking advantage of Farrell's decision making! Gonna be a fun day of scoreboard watching for everyone tomorrow. See you all tomorrow for the rubber match.

Wow with everything going on I hadn't even considered the fact that the Jays will play the Rangers if they advance past the wild card game.
