Well there's a product that not a single person has asked for.

I had Virtual Boy with Teleroboxer, Wario Land and Red Alarm. I actually kind of enjoyed it at the time, but I'm a masochist.

Skarrsinger Karmelita is the answer, apparently ... #### everything about this boss. I'm a bit shocked to see her at the top of quite a few "best Silksong bosses", because to me, she ticks pretty much every box of what doesn't make a great boss. Completely random blocks? Okay then.

The other two "hearts" bosses were tough and a bit frustrating, but this one ... nah. There's some really cool bosses in the game, but others ... not so much.

Karmelita is a great boss because she's really dynamic in her motion and attacks. It's pretty different from a lot of bosses and forces you to be more patient. She only deals 1 contact damage so you can rush her down to take less damage. You can also deflect her projectiles which helped me a ton.

Karmelita is also a great test for you to learn how to fight a certain later boss in the game.

quite a few lists agree, so it's probably just me. I loved bosses like The First Sinner, even though she was pretty hard, but it was super fun. This one is just frustrating.

ha, I guess then that's the end of the line for me lol. But that's fine, I've had a lot of fun with this game, but it's been nothing but frustration in Act 3, so it's time for me to finish up anyway. I'll still try to finish the game (and technically, I don't need to beat Karmelita because I have the option of doing the Green Prince thing instead), but I won't sacrifice a ton of time to get it done. We'll see how it goes.

In the end, it falls short of Hollow Knight for me, which is a pity. I want to love this game, and I feel I should love this game. The gameplay is fantastic, and the overall design is phenomenal. But I feel Silksong wants me to be miserable and frustrated, and that sucks.
