Somehow, god only knows how, the Jays just guaranteed themselves a game 163. Neither the Tigers nor the Mariners can pass us, they can only tie. IIRC, we hold the tiebreakers on everyone, so we'd host any one-game playoff to get into the wild card game.

So now the Tigers have to win both games just to tie the Jays if the Jays lose tomorrow correct? So we are guaranteed some sort of post season game now no?

yes, guaranteed at least a tie break into the wild card game. Both Seattle and Detroit need to win out and have the Jays or Orioles lose tomorrow to stay alive. Seattle currently down 5-2 in the 4th.
