Because TBA is controlling the strings, and probably has the UCP party under its mercy and is forcing the party to elect absolute nutjobs, otherwise they'll make the party pay. The control the constituency associations. You can see what's happening right now even in Fort MacMurray.

Smith is their puppet and the party's direction is being controlled by this group. Albertans should be concerned about this group that seems to have far too much political pull behind the scenes.

Reminds me of a quote from the Dark Knight:

“The Joker's just a mad dog. I want whoever let him off the leash.”

This is also a group that doesn't want you to pay attention or to have any attention drawn to itself.

My primary reason for getting a sign was the support the AB NDP.

My secondary reason was to completely troll the neighbourhood conservatives who get their noses out of joint, especially since I live across the alley from Mr. Wexit Canada himself, Jay Hill.

So you can imagine my surprise after I got my sign, went to drive to an appointment, and turned out of the back lane to see like five or six campaign signs repping Team Orange flanking the guy's house and across the street. He must think he's surrounded by pinko commies.

My sign will sadly be short-lived, as the house is going on ComingSoon.ca followed by the MLS as of May 11th, and having political signage on the lawn when trying to sell your home is not in any way a good thing, no matter the party.

Not to respond to Yoho - but who is lib-media in Alberta? All the papers are owned by Post media, Danielle Smith had/has a radio show so I can't imagine its a radio station. Is it just the CBC?

I think this is the exact reason why you should get a sign. Have the courage to show that you support the sane option. There are more like you that are lurking. By putting out your sign it’s a signal to others that it is ok to choose the ANDP (sanity) and reject the insanity of Take Back Alberta.

It’s ok to want a not crazy direction forward for this province.

I had a UCP door-knocker come to my house on Friday. After informing her all of the reasons why I'm voting NDP her only argument was "but Notley likes Trudeau". Great nuanced political understanding there.

At least they gave you a response, hopefully without throwing a temper tantrum on your doorstep.

Well Smith did say we should feed tainted meat to homeless people instead of thowing it out.

Presumably my orange sign will keep the UCP door knockers away from now on. It's like a moron deflector shield.

I think you know where your sign should be placed when you have to remove it from your lawn

Vote Compass is up. Time for Conservative voters to see how embarrassingly close they get to NDP values.

My results

And Jordan Wilkie is Max Ward's grandson? Well damn, Max is a hero of mine, I guess I am going to vote Green now. In Notley's riding so I'm not too worried about my vote doing anything.

No questions on health care, excepting the one regarding the role of privatization. Really, today, I plan to vote for the party that can deliver the best plan for health care, and I don't know what that is.

Got money that's burning a hole in your pocket? UCP. Don't have extra money? NDP

Arguably, the care that you will get with privatization will be better, IF, and that's a big IF, you can afford it. If by "health care" you mean publicly available health care, then definitely not the UCP.
