It's really all about the situation the QB enters in the NFL. So many of these highly drafted QB's are put in really bad situations and have their confidence shattered. Mahomes was drafted into a perfect situation, Stroud had the best landing spot of last year's crop, and it looks like McCarthy probably landed in the best situation of the latest batch of QB's. I think it's premature to jump to any conclusions about these QB's as three games is nothing but some of these guys will have to overcome the team that drafted them to rise above.

Saints Pro Bowl C Erik McCoy out 6-8 weeks after a groin injury 3 snaps into the Eagles game.
That's brutal, he's on a very short list of players the Saints couldn't afford to lose, the interior line got destroyed all game after he went down. That red hot Saints offence the 1st 2 games may be dunzo now.

They had numbers that he was unable to deliver against any of the top teams in College Football, and was lighting it up against lesser opponents.
Something about him seems off, I guess we will see.
The NFL needs top quality quarterbacks so it's not like I am cheering against him.

USC's defense ranked like a billionth in the nation last year. The narrative SHOULD be that Caleb couldn't outscore top ranked teams by himself while his defense gave up 50 points a game.
It doesn't happen often, but if Caleb is given a half-assed pocket it's pretty evident why the Bears moved Fields for him. He has made large strides each game so far and the return of Keenan Allen should be a big help as well.
Much like Fields when he was in Chicago, the results so far are not the QBs fault at this point, bit they need to make sure they make the adjustments needed ASAP before they damage his psych going forwards.
Not saying youre cheering against Jim, but it's pretty comical after this whole offseason that you think Caleb DOESNT have an energy about him as thats what he was criticized so much about pre draft

What a slime ball. No one is talking about what he did now, it's about how he has Parkinson's.

I'm seeing lots of "karma" posts, or "God is gonna shake that money out him" posts. The latter being quite dark, and quite funny.

That's some wild exaggerating by whoever tweeted that to say he speared him in the head; pretty clear he's going for the ball and landed off to the side next to his arm, but he definitely needs to be more careful. I know many Eagles fans have hated the Saints for years, so I get why whoever tweeted that has a desire to exaggerate the situation in an attempt to villify.

Every team gets a Thursday night game so this was never going to be avoided.

Cowboys being awful so far also adds intrigue. Still probably gonna be a horrible game, but it's more interesting than most of their recent matchups have been.

I feel it's kind of a can't lose game for me. I always enjoy watching these two organizations lose and it's guaranteed (watch the game end in a tie) to happen to one of them tonight.
