I think u can. If u call the leaf’s for a penalty with 30 seconds left when they were on the forecheck then the Huberdeau high stick never happens.

Yet, as it stands the flames have to be smarter with their sticks. They were far too undisciplined.

What was the penalty count in the end? 7-2? Sounds pretty balanced to me. The cross checks are ere not evenly called. Officiating is the militant arm of a faciat entertainment league.

There is no pure competition any longer. Officials are too involved in the flow of games. It’s almost unbearable. From where it’s come as a game to where it is, is quite the move towards rigged and soft hockey.

Seriously?? You really think that was a 6 powerplays to 2 game? Leafs got away with a lot tonight. Flames got away with nothing. And look at that call in OT. Huberdeau stick does hit the visor and the Leaf player snaps his head back like he had been shot.

Agree it wasn't balanced but 2 high sticks and Vladar's trip will always be called. Flames don't do that and it's 3-2 in penalty calls. And if the league is cracking down on crosschecks to the numbers maybe stop doing that.

I'd save your breath. This is CP. Every call on the Flames is BS and the other team gets away with murder, every, single, game.

The Flames simply didn't have possession enough early in the first. Really hard to take penalties when you have the puck.

The beginning of most Flames games is awful.

They are usually in recovery mode in Period 2 and 3.
