It's crazy to me that he was playing in 2006 when Italy won.

That feels like a LIFETIME ago.

Was that WC even broadcast in hi-def? Facebook wasn't even a thing yet.

It does seem like a lifetime ago.

Spain ran away with their match. This is not running away with a match.

I appreciate Portugal keeping it entertaining until the end! Not the best way to finish a game though!

I think I'm in the mood for a South American team with multiple WC wins to absolutely destroy someone today...

That was an entertaining match.

Not the most deserved PK…but IMO his first goal should have stood as both him and the defender were jostling for that ball and the defender fell.

Portugal will be good but their back line looked surprisingly poor today.

On the TLN channel (which heavily features Italian broadcasting), they constantly play a 2-hour recap movie of the entire 2006 World Cup... I love it haha. Del Piero was my fave player so I never get tired watching those highlights!

It was the two goals in short order. Glad Ghana came back in it though.

One of the funner games of the World Cup for a neutral. Yesterday was just a toll on the heart with Germany and Canada both playing and losing

How the #### do you think it's gonna be for me on Sunday? I might literally die.

While having a showing like today and having the lion's share of the chances and a missed penalty stings to walk away with nothing, hanging with the world's #2 ranked team in the freaking World Cup is so so far from disappointing.
I think the "just happy to be there" mentality ends once the game kicks off. But that's just me. It's possible to be both happy with where the program is and disappointed with the result.

I tossed and turned slept before the CANMNT game yesterday, will probably do the same again Sat night. I'm a 'casual fan', if I get this anxiety how the frack do the players handle this.

If Japan beat Costa Rica and Canada get the result needed against Croatia I'll be over the moon, and excited AF for Thu Dec 1.

I'm a pessimist, so for me either result will be bad.

Does Richarlison put in better performances for Brazil then he does for club teams? It’s weird to see him as their starting striker.

Would have had Jesus start, but that’s probably the Arsenal fan in me.

Also how many minutes till Neymar is rolling around dying on the pitch? Over/under at 10.

As bad as Neymar is, Richarlison is worse.
