My word, that turn. Why a corner? Lloris didn't touch it.

Liverpool are actively trying to shoot it at spurs arms to get VAR to hand them a peno

Kane is such a whiner.

You got a pass off a handball, handled it yourself and then the keeper never touched it.

"Corner tho!!!"

Oh come on. Not one Liverpool player appealed for a handball there. Not one.

Dele Alli diving to a winning penalty here would be so utterly hilarious.

I'm pretty sure thats actually the plan. Why else would you put him on for Son?

If you want to actually earn a goal, Son is your man. If you want to grift one then Dele Alli is the choice.

Ouch, 89 minutes of negativity for nothing. And to lose on a set piece? Mourinho is gonna lose his ####.

Ha! Yes!

I have no idea what Mourinho is upset about. He setup negatively, got lucky but lost.

Why is the entire Tottenham squad bitching at the refs?

Its not like they were hard done by via the officials.

It's odd to say a team who got dominated should feel unlucky, but Spurs could have easily won that 3 or 4-1. As it is the better team won.

Sorry, but I think Mourinho got it wrong here. We had a patchwork back-4.

He should have attacked. Tottenham have talent, and they made chances, its not like VAR killed them or anything, they just got unlucky.

I mean you don't have to preach to me that they should have attacked more, this felt like a game Spurs needed to win more than Liverpool, so to play passively is terrible. And the few times they did break, Liverpool were exposed. But go with the horse who got you there and all that, I guess.

3 of the 4 in the back 4 played their for the majority of last season

It's not patchwork , this injury narrative klopp has people buying into is ridiculous

Also how could he get it wrong when they created probably the 3 or 4 best chances in the game

You take those odds anytime

TAA and Robertson are playing on injuries, Williams is an Academy player and Fabinho is playing out of position.

"Ridiculous."

Yeah. I know whats ridiculous. Your manager made a colossally stupid error in judgement and you lost.

What was colossally stupid about it?
Liverpool scraped together a last minute win on the back of some poor misses by Spurs.

TAA and Robertson playing injured? Lol. Just lol.

So any further injuries incurred by them two we can put rush to Klopps recklessness.

Spurs played really well, but sitting back like that puts a lot of reliance on really high efficiency in attack. They have plenty enough talent to play a little more then they did today.

Mourinho is the worst though, he makes a clash at the top of the table look more like a game with a top side trying to break down a relegation candidate.

It’s disappointing, but you have to take your chances. Spurs played well and easily had the best chances. A fluke deflection and a defender slips on a corner and we lose our second game of the season. It’s not great but it happens.

I think Jose had them setup really well. We win games that way and why would you change that heading into this one? Obviously it didn’t work out today, but it’s not like we got destroyed. If Bergwijn hits the post a little left of where he did, or Kane gets the header on target it’s a different conversation.

But that Liverpool team is hardly incredible. They’re going to drop more points this season and we’ll have our chances. They can blame the injuries or whatever other excuses Klopp has (the wind, the state of the pitch, clearing snow on half a field, etc.), but at the end of the day the team that let Villa pump in 7 is still there.
