Funny story:
A Dutch second league player was fired by his team after he called in sick last tuesday. Later that day his face popped up not once, not twice but three times on millions of tv screens while supporting Ajax in London.

Wow! I never saw that coming! Props to Liverpool for the immense comeback and without Salah. That's really shocking and while I obviously doubted it would ever happen, it's pretty amazing.

Ajax winning it all is the only thing that can truly save the world.

That was incredible, like pointed out above I was in awe at the brains and timing of TAA, that's going to be a play talked about for a generation.

Also, I'm not his biggest fan, but henderson tonight was a captain's captain, he ran around the field at full speed all game long, he was ahead at every 50 50 ball and outplayed the Barca midfield badly

Really hope in about 22 hours we are heading for an all england final

So liverpool told the ball boys to be quick on corners because barca tend to be lazy at getting in place

Give the kid that placed the one for the 4th goal a winners medal if they do win the final

Hahahaha! I've been reading this too.

Hendo was immense. Hes not the greatest CM in the world, but hes a great Captain, when it was time to stand and be counted he stood and dragged the rest of his team with him!

TAA's corner? Holy crap. Dont even know what to say. So simple that its brilliant? Barca were lazy and werent expecting a play you'd think comes from a Sunday morning kickabout.

Still stunned by the result. Stunned.

Credit the kid for listening, but most of the credit to the Liverpool coaching staff for exploiting it. I recall reading Klopp stresses set pieces in training, and I think they lead the PL in goals from set pieces. When the margins are tight, it's the little things that matter.

That corner is a thing of beauty. Barca literally not paying attention at all.

Too many soft games for them.

De Ligt is a monster. Barca needed him last night.

Sorry Phil...not sorry.

Quote:
Philippe Coutinho is "not a Barcelona player" and will be the first casualty of their shambolic Champions League exit to Liverpool, while the board are set to meet to decide coach Ernesto Valverde's fate

Sources also confirmed that a number of the coaching staff are disappointed with Coutinho's performances this season. The Brazilian is the club's record signing at €160 million but his displays against his former side across both legs of the semifinal strengthened the idea that his time at Camp Nou is up.

"Coutinho is not a Barcelona player, that's been made clear," a club source told ESPN FC.

Diario Sport called the 4-0 defeat the "biggest embarrassment" in the club's history and Bartomeu says there will be time to reflect on how they recover from a second successive European humiliation. They also surrendered a three-goal lead against Roma last year.

Well we had a good, unexpected run. Players are off on vacation already, so hopefully next season we have a better go at things.

Trippier and Rose have to go or at least be relegated to the bench.

They'll probably still get something not bad for him, but how badly do Spurs wish they sold high on Trippier after the World Cup? He's been poor all year.

So as I understand it, and correct me if I'm wrong, but in order to 'win' a team must 'score goals?'

Was Harry Kane just Spurs' designated Goal-Scorer and without him its just not going to happen?

DAZN sucks. As if they’re showing some gunners fan at halftime of a Spurs game.
