Sure you can. It's called a hardware wallet.

This guy is one of the best I’ve found who talks about Bitcoin and Cyrpto in an easy to listen to daily broadcast to subscribe to. He did it so the avg. person is ready and prepared for the new monetary use that’s about to unfold.

The comparisons being made are that we are at 1997 of internet adoption for crypto. It’s still very early but it’s 100% coming,

There is no logic to be found there. All your post shows is that you believe gold is best used as a buttplug. Not trying to shame your choices, but that's not how everyone else uses it.

I can't believe it's come to this, but I'm sure one can shove a Trezor up their butt if they desire.

I assume these days if you were in a situation like this they might be more willing to take crypto for payment since these people likely don't have bank accounts. Something to take into account when buying a hardware wallet I guess, buy the thumbstick shape not the credit card shape

which is of no help what so ever at a road block when the new 'el presidentes' men are pointing AK's at you because you are the wrong faith or color or tribe, gold and diamonds are a traditional store of wealth in insecure regions because you can use them as payment as well as a store of wealth, US dollars also are used alot, what a bitcoin wallet stuffed up your backside gets you is either no way to bribe the soldier or if you pull it out three hours of torture to get your key off you so they can take it all.

There are vast areas of the world where the banking and political structure is so unstable that being able to bribe a guard/bus driver or buy a chicken might be a life or death neccesity, the ability to hide most of your gold but pull out one krugerrand as needed is literally why gold and diamonds have always been valued as wealth storage, crytpo may well be a good store of wealth, it may even become a good alternate currency but it isnt anymore useful than a visa card as a means of accessing useable value

It’s not Bitcoin you want to own in those situations. It’s Buttcoin.

You should write up a whitepaper on that, no crazier than dogecoin

I'm sure the soldier would accept a bribe in btc. Might actually prefer it, easier to send back home to their family than a jewel encrusted golden butt plug.

Is there some way to pay someone with crypto if there's no wifi or cell phone service?

I suppose you recommend toilet paper to prepare the whitepaper?

What size is the market for bribes on yearly basis relative to golds use as an inflation hedge. In all scenarios but the buttplug Bitcoin is easier to transfer than gold.

Yes, sort of. If you had a wallet specific for a set amount you could give someone the public and private key for that Bitcoin address. It would be kind of like putting money in an envelope and giving it to someone. The problem is that person can’t open the envelope to see how much is in there without internet so they’d have to trust you.

They’d also have to trust that even if there was an amount on that address that you didn’t move it out of there before they do. Because you probably still have the private key yourself.

trouble is all scenarios except the buttplug arent life or death, the buttplug one is though, its why Indians buy gold jewelry for their wives, it is status for weddings and the like but it is also the families emergency bug out fund in a country where being able to flee is a neccesity

We in the west dont have to worry that the result of the federal election means we have 2 or 3 days to get to the border, alot of the world does though, as long as that's the case Gold diamonds and US dollars will always be the safest place to store wealth for a large chunk of the world

So of the 10 trillion market cap for gold what % is that.

Also a USB key with your bit coin is easier to use as a buttplug then a bar of gold. So I want a small amount of gold for bribes and the rest of my wealth much more hidden.

What if your USB drive was made out of gold. Or your private key was engraved on a gold stick. Double Wealth Store!

NSFW
Spoiler!

Legitimate question. Why do you actually participate in this thread? I'm not gung ho on Bitcoin but I don't actually get why you have the most posts of anyone in the thread.
