Flames lost to the Canucks in game 1 last year, if I recall.
Seemed to all work out OK.

Pretty much. A mostly starting roster was horrible against the Jets and this was just carryover. That Warrener is smarter than he gets credit for.

Ferland looked good. The rest of the team not so much. Better stop reading all the headlines boys and put the work boots back on.

Let's give the Nucks false hope for the upcoming season.

He hated the way they coasted against the Jets in the last game. Said they didn't look ready. He was right.

Silently solid was a compliment. He wasent overly impressive or horribly bad . He just did his job.

Norm!

The Flames have two days to work this out, but frankly this was more about the Flames maybe reading too many headlines and forgetting that they're not that good and they need to work hard to win.
I doubt Bob lets this one stand and that they are going to have to repaint the dressing room tomorrow.
Not to worried, this was more about the Flames playing a horrid flat game then the Canucks being a surprising team.
Go into Vancouver put on your work gear and punch the Canucks in the face.

That's my feeling. Even in preseason they didn't really look like they were putting in the hard work. I hope this game serves as a good wakeup call.
