Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger
Bruins aren't done. Still open to something bigger. Connolly gives them options. Also wanting to add a depth D-man.

Millions said on Sportsnet that Pittsburgh was asking about a Flames defensemen. Rog said he wasn't sure who.

Jason Mackey @Mackey_Trib
Hearing interest from Penguins on Flames D Kris Russell. Well-liked in Calgary, though, and team might not want to move him.

Sure Russell for the farm. That kind of leadership isn't going anywhere. I fell it'd have to blow Brads socks off for him to move Kris Russell.

Wow, listening to the Flames break down the Flames needs and essentially gave a eulogy on the Flames season now that Gio went down. Hate that.

Nope. Russell should be untouchable.

Way to much obviously. We are only 2 years into a rebuild, we would need more than a 30 goal scorer to become legit contenders. Rather build through the draft and not trade away any of our picks our prospects.

Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC
You always have to be careful, but right now, no proof on the Voynov. Things can always change.

Flames only have to outpace kings and they are in. I like their chances.

I doubt there will be a selloff. Media are dumb.

Eric Stephens ‏@icemancometh
Hearing very possible Ducks deal UFA Matt Beleskey if they get right price or fill need. Not sure what it is but winger could move.

I usually hate reporting what's NOT happening, but LA has not traded Slava Voynov to PHI. #TradeCentre

Yet we are ahead of the curve and Kessel is a whopping 27 years old. He will still be a top end sniper when we are making runs at the cup. He would be a huge piece toward getting to where we need to be and would instantly improve our playoff chances this season. Again, depends on the cost. If you can do it without including a Bennett, Gaudreau, or Monahan you have to seriously look at it.

I get what your saying but I'd imagine they'd want one of those guys though. A first is a given but I wouldn't want to give up this years pick. 2016 maybe.

I'll be curious to see if SJS and/or EDM are able to do anything today in terms of addressing long-term goaltending needs. #TradeCentre

The #stlblues remain the front-runner for #coyotes Zbynek Michalek, but others are interested. Unique deal with player injured. #NHLTrade

Is hiller/ramo being shopped? Seems like one of them could be gone by the deadline.
