How was the cresting of the names and numbers done? Was it heat pressed or sewn on?

They look better in real life than the EA version did. If you got rid of that horrid wordmark and just put the flaming C on the front they really wouldn't be bad.
I still love the shoulder patch though. Wish they'd put that on the regulars.

Luckily the opinions on CP only add up to a very small fraction of Flames fans and I am sure we will see many people wearing these jerseys in the months to come. Best to just get used to them.

So using black and adding a wordmark is modern?
In case you haven't noticed, most teams have been getting rid of black or overly dark colours for the last decade or so.
Anyways, looks as though the Flames will be using these for only 12 games. Which is good. It seems as though they're being used sparingly. It is a third jersey after all, so it's not the end of the world. When we get our new primaries I really hope they don't F*** it up this badly.

Did not like the jersey at first, and I am warming up to it a little, but not enough to buy one.
I fail to understand the different font for the C vs the A.
It would be interesting to see the designs the flames tossed.......

The replica jerseys are terrible. They have cheap cheap plastic shoulder patches and the collars have a rubber like thing for the graphics instead of fabric. The Authentics were proper, but also $300.
I would've bought one of the replicas had they not been chinese knockoff quality (possibly worse)

so burke, during flames fest, said we have holes to fill in our line up. without a doubt they must be working on something sooner than later.
but what holes are in our line up?
i know we could get significantly better... but where are the holes burke is talking about?
better PKers? more grit? size? PP? RW?

Look at the box score from last night. 2 players were -2 and played less than 10 minutes

Wow I can't believe the K-Mart design leak was for real.
You would think there'd be at least one person involved with the balls to call a spade a spade on this. What an ugly piece of ****.

When I first saw the leaked screenshots I thought these jerseys were horrible. Now that I've seen the real deal.......I was right.
This is the only Flames jersey ever - horse head included - that I honestly can't stand and would never buy. The shoulder patches are awesome but that wordmark is hot garbage.

The photos look better than the leaked pics. Might pick one up, might not.
I can't stand some of the nitpicking about the font or the colours by some posters. It's just a third jersey, if you don't like it don't buy it, no need to try and shove your opinion down someone's throat.

Full disclosure: one of them is a Devil's fan.
But they're certainly not the worst looking jerseys in the NHL.

To be clear i'm not fan of jerseys that have "lettering/team name" on the front as well as "numbers". Stick to the original logo and makes changes in other ways to the jersey.

That's one thing that sucks about the replica jerseys since the NHL has gone with Reebok as the main jersey supplier, the plastic shoulder patches. They look super cheap and IMO, are a slap in the face to fans.

Much nicer in person then they are in the NHL leak.
Still not a huge fan of the Wordmark but it's alright for a 3rd. Ended up grabbing a Monahan Replica since Monahan was stationed at the autograph table that I was able to access.
The authentic jersey is awesome with a fully stitched shoulder patch, but couldn't justify spending $250 on the jersey and then having to spend another $100 to get it crested, especially with the players signing the jerseys today.
I really hope we never get rid of the shoulder patch and use it moving forward on our regular home and away jerseys, just really crisp and sharp.
And I wouldn't freak out too much about all the different designs, I am guessing there were hundreds of prototypes and different mock ups. Actually wouldn't be surprised if they choose the most disgusting designs to show beside the one they picked, makes the shoulder patch they picked look even better.

On the bright side, I bet these'll look a lot better on tv than the current ones.
So that's something.

Got to admit I like them a bit more now that I've seen them outside of NHL 14 pictures.

Embarrassing. It looks like an expansion franchise jersey ("the Mighty Bulls of Alberta").
