I think there was a flood similar to this back when the centre street bridge was newly built. I remember seeing photos many moons ago that showed the whole flood plain filled. Couldnt guess a date though

I'm 8 hours away. I was thinking more along the lines of donating a hundred bucks or so to the relief fund.

I work in Centennial but haven't heard squat. I would imagine if Devon is in lockdown/powered down then it would be the same for Centennial considering whenever Devon's alarms go off in their building we are on stand by. Plus they are both oxford properties so I would think they would be under the same plan of action.

Well, schools closed basically means non-emergency workplace closures as well. That's a lot of parents that will have to stay home with their younger school-aged kids.

I think Riverbend is just on evacuation watch right now, meaning they haven't actually started an evac.

I'm in Centennial as well. Still no word but there is no way it'll be open tomorrow.

Edit: just got the email. Centennial Place is evacuated and closed as of 11:00pm. Good. Given all that is going on it would be ridiculous to have people going downtown tomorrow.

So? Taking pictures of something that is capturing the attention of the entire Country makes them "clowns"?? If I was in the area, had a big red nose and size 23 shoes I guess I'd be taking pictures too!..... |

I am starting to hope the police arrest people who go downtown tomorrow.
Stay out of downtown like the police are telling you too. It is just that simple!
