At the end of the day, the Ducks don't really have a tradition associated with their uniforms so why not establish a tradition of being different?
I'm more of a traditionalist about it. UF should always wear a blue top and white pants at home and maybe the orange jersey at home. Either the Orange helmet now with the Gator Script or white Helmet with the Blue block letter F. I just don't like all these new fancy colors. This isn't a fashion show, its a football game.

Oh and now that TD pass is under review. What a game.......
BTW the guy behind me at the Gator bowl today was an Oregon Alumni. pretty cool guy.

Brutal. That time he relaxed too much, swung his leg and didn't drive through the ball.
He is a freshman, but still.

The snap was low and the hold wasn't perfect. NCAA doesn't allow the use of a kicking tee for extra points and FG's. High school kickers can use them and it takes a year really to get use to kicking off the pitch.

However, I sucked as a kicker when I was in high school, I had plenty of leg but couldn't hit the side of a barn if I were 5' away from it.

If you lose a recruit to Oregon based upon uniforms you made a pretty piss poor pitch to begin with. I'm not a huge fan of all of their uniforms, but that statement is just absurd.

So excited for Luck to be a Colt soon! Guy has such poise and composure. The way he makes those calls on the line reminds me of Peyton. Hopefully they both are Colts next year and Luck can learn from Manning.

I can see this Weeden in the CFL at some point. Already 28, it'll be a long shot for him to make and stick and play in the NFL, probably.

But he reminds me of (probably because he looks like him) Danny McManus with his size and style and accuracy.

I don't know if you were actually watching that game, but Georgia was never in control, even when leading at the half. They had 2 big plays, otherwise neither team could move the ball.

Nope. Just going by what others said. I had no control on what was being watched.

I see he is a offensive tackle as USC. I absolutely do not a want another tackle drafted by the Rams. Jason Smith is a bust, and a bum. First of all taken 2nd overall and turned into a right tackle that is straight up awful drafting. You do not spend the 2nd overall pick on a right tackle, unless your QB is left handed.

Its time to stop effing around, and grab a impact playmaker.

He's a franchise LT, and from everything I have seen they will take him at 2 barring unforeseen developments

A stud left tackle is an impact player. Not sure what good a stud WR like Blackmon is if your QB is running for his life or knocked out with concussions on a frequent basis, especially with the money you have tied up in that position.

They already invested top picks into Roger saffold and Jason smith. We do not need another tackle is going to be a bust.

Matt Kalil is an Orlando Pace type prospect. Possibly the best tackle prospect since Joe Thomas.

The Rose bowl and Fiesta were outstanding. Wouldn't want to be in that Stanford kickers shoes in the locker room.
Definatly in the top 10 biggest failures in sports. You could tell on the sidelines prior to the first kick he didn't want any part of that moment.
The kid was frozen in fear.
You fail to make those kicks in a tryout you don't make the team. That freshman kid was one of top kicking recruits in all the US.
Get him a sports psyc stat.

That's what they said about Robert gallery too. Jason smith was supposed to be a sure thing. We can't keep investing top picks into tackles and they suck. Now we have to trade Jason smith for a 4th rounder. That one still upsets me who picks a right tackle 2nd overall.

Hyperbole much?

Just to add context to this, if that's in the top 10 biggest failures there would be a whole lot of ties among kickers who missed 2 potential game winning field goals, including another one yesterday. No at all uncommon in college football.

So you stop drafting LT's because other LT's have been a bust? That seems like an intelligent strategy
