Nice to see the Oilers lose. They've been teetering on a bunch of losses lately that have been bailed out by a timely call or crazy bounce. They've built up enough points that the playoffs won't be in doubt but I can see a tough slog for them after the 4 nations cup. Hopefully a quick first round exit too.

You mean the opinions I share with the great majority of Canadians?

Nobody cares. Take your lumps and pipe down. Comes with the territory for sharing bigoted opinions.

For some reason it's important to rub in how wealthy the owner has become after fleecing the city taxpayers on that arena deal? I recall Katz' actual contribution was under $20M cash in total.

Connor already checking out. He’s a restaurant / furniture store owner now, plus he will be in Toronto soon.

Again……..not sure why we keep hearing this “best player in the world” BS, he isn’t even the best player on his own team. I’m guessing he gets a little pouty if Pissy is stealing his light.

Isn't 1 point in 6 games (5 on 5) good for McDavid?

He's usually a powerplay or OT (3 on 3) specialist.

A little bit of defense would have helped last night. Haha

But hey, go ahead and treat every game like a track meet and see where that gets you, Oilers.

To be fair he may be playing through injury. Fractured his elbow on Johansson's jaw, then missed when he tried to bertuzzi Garland's head into the ice and punched the ice.

Also hard to let those things heal when you flop to the ice like you got hit with a Mack truck every time you feel a gentle breeze.

Connor spent his break eating that gross looking quadruple heart attack big mac.

It feels like the Oilers are starting to cool off in the last 5

They lost to Detroit in a shootout, Lost to the Leafs, needed overtime to beat two non playoff teams, and then didn't look good against the Avs.

The formula continues. Conna and pissface lead the way. The rest of the lineup is mid level, their goaltending with Skinner is just ok. They started winning when they figured out their powerplay, but their penalty killing is still terrible.

They're still a paper tiger, they haven't hit any major injuries, they just seem to be lucky again.

And lucky might not be good enough, as they are an aging team, with really big cap troubles coming up. Bouchard is super hyped, he's going to want a huge raise. I'm assuming Conna is somewhat smart, if the team starts sliding next year as it gets older with no really good prospects coming up, that could effect his next contract as well as the NHLPA pressuring him to set the max highest paid in the league standard.

Would it be too mean to leave hilarious Google reviews?

"The circular urinal in the mens room leaves no room for a sink. Very unhygienic."
