Sparty...fraud. And I bought in.
Probably dont deserve a BCS game either. There is losing a game, and there is losing the way they have.
I have a feeling that Auburn mayalso lose, but not this way.

Montana dropped its third game of the season today in Ogden. I think they will miss the playoffs for the first time in as long as I can remember. At least 15 seasons.

31 pt loss. Not allowed to be top 10 any more IMO. The Big 10 is a mess...no idea how you would sort that out...well yes I do actually...later for that.
Mizzou looks better than I thought they may...fought back from 24-0 to make it 31-17. Much better club than Sparty. That loss to Texas that Nebraska has is almost inexplicable, other than to say...that's football. Any way you slice it however, the Big 12 is a dog conference.
The Fla/Ga game is pretty entertaining even though it means little.

No kidding, especially when it's usually the QB Martinez shouldering the load for them.
great team...and again makes that home loss to Texas even more inexplicable.

What an ending to the worlds largest outdoor cocktail party.
Our senior punter has to kick since our regular kicker has a broken back and nailed a Game winning kick in OT.
Will Hill intercepted the ball on UGA's OT drive and almost returned it for a TD but stepped out at the 1 yard line.
Chaz missed the FG to tie MSU a couple of weeks ago too so I feel so happy for the kid!

Gotta ask PIM...what has happened to theSEC defenses? That was the calling card for that conference forever, but now they look like the PAC10....scoring everywhere.
I like it BTW, exciting games and whatnot, but the identity seems to have changed. Any ideas why?

I'm not sure, Both teams are breaking in a new Defensive coordinators this year. Florida did cause 4 turnovers but with our idiotic offensive coordinator we couldn't really convert on them.
The last UGA TD to Green they showed Urban Meyer ripping into our new DC Teryl Austin (former AZ Cardinals DB coach last year) and it looked like Austin didn't take to kindly of it. We had 3 or 4 drives back to back that were less than a 1:30 long. No matter how good you are on defense you're gonna get tired.
I think UF started a trend a couple of years ago (06) about having small athletic defense's. They use speed to make a ton of plays but that is all contingent on having the lead. We are second in the country for starting 17 freshmen ( now 18 with our new kicker) but we are young. I'm just enjoying the games for what they are now, for the rest of the year.
We have a killer Safety in Elam, DE in Ronald Powell and a stud DT in Shariff Floyd. The all are getting slight playing time and show a ton of promise but they are all true freshmen. In a year or two the D will fine. Plus we just got our first bonified RB under meyer and the last since Fred Taylor in Mike Blankely. Plus we got a stud dual threat QB coming in next year in Jeff Driskall. Blankely is a Percy type of back, shifty, fast and elusive. Driskal is a tall qb with a cannon of an arm that can run a 4.4 forty. He wont be a Tebow and plow you over but he is able to actually throw the ball and out run people. reminds me of a more polished (out of HS) Pryor.
Plus we have a kid name Andre Debose who is a Red Shirt Frosh right now. That kid is amazing but had hammy surgery last year and busted up his ankle this year. Hopefully we can stay healthy during the off season and come back next year with a good mix of fros/soph/jrs and take a run.
We lost way too much to the NFL this year, Tim really made up for how bad our offensive play calling was last year.
What's really sad is that we still can make it to Atlanta this year as long as we win our two next SEC games (at Vandy, home vs USCe). win those and we get a chance at either LSU, Bama, or Allbarn. The way that Allbarn is playing it looks like a Oregon vs Allbarn NCG. I think that game is going to be a FRICKING blast to watch. Hell even if they both lose the BCS should pin them up against eachother in some bowl.
Oh well, great game to watch today. I cant wait for the Oregon vs USCw game! GO DUCKS!

I'm sorry to the USCw fans on here; but I hate Kiffen so much, I was hoping that Oregon would beat them by 100

The Big East is scrambling to try and stay relevant apparently.
Quote:
League sources indicated to ESPN.com Big East reporter Brian Bennett that TCU and Central Florida are the top possible outside candidates, along with Villanova. The Big East would prefer to bring in schools as football-only members so as to not add to the 16-team basketball alignment. The question for TCU is whether the Horned Frogs would be willing to join only for football, since the Mountain West likely would not allow them to stay in that conference for other sports. The issue for UCF is possible opposition from potential rival South Florida.

wow, that conference has some serious travel as it is. Why not add another team a thousand or so miles away?

In Eugene, getting excited for my first experience of college football. I will try and upload some photos from the game asap.
