Kind of way off topic, but this is the best way to wake up in the morning i've found:
About 15 minutes before you set the alarm the clock gets brighter. (You can change this setting up to an hour I think) When the alarm goes off, your bedroom is completely bright, no squinting.
I tried a regular alarm after a couple years of using this thing and waking up to a regular alarm is a nightmare.

It's called a SunRise Clock. I got mine off the internet from BioBrite. They are a bit pricey, but are really worth it. Especially in the winter.

I have the one at the very bottom.
Much easier to get up in the morning.

What's an alarm clock? I never use one unless I have to be up earlier than usual. My alarm is internal.

The only problem I found with sleep cycle is it wakes me up way too early. Like 30 minutes early. I'm a very light sleeper and the darn thing was playing for so long. I didn't turn it off because I was too lazy to re-set my alarm clock incase I over slept... is there anyway to make it 10-15 minutes?

Isn't that the point though? It is supposed to wake you up, up to 30 minutes before your alarm, at the lightest part of your sleep.

It's picking the time you're sleeping lightest before your desired wake up time. If the app is correct you would slip further into deeper sleep as your actual desired time approaches.

I'm not sure if it's my bed or placement but I looked at the statistics and it looks nothing like Oilers_fan. Mine is pretty much a straight-squiggly line across awake. When I do the test to see if movement will register, it beeps like mad. Maybe I'll try it again tonight

It apparently needs two days to calibrate.

Strongly recommend Big Buck Hunter Pro. I've lost many many hours to it already. It only has 3 territories (15 spots), but it's only $0.99.

Has anyone mentioned "Plants vs Zombies" yet?
Awesome game. Great port of the PC game.
$2.99 is a bargain too.

While it did indeed wake me up 30 minutes before I wanted it to, SleepCycle had me up and out of bed feeling much better than usual this morning.

Just a heads up - Assassins Creed II Multiplayer just released and available for free for 2 days, then goes to 2.99.
I haven't tried it yet but might be worth picking up while it's free.

Likewise for me today too, it was nice. I'm not sure if it was just a placebo effect or not; me wanting to believe it actually works or if it does indeed actually work.

Does anyone use a touch with this app? The developer does not recommend it due to the screen not shutting off or something. Anybody tried it?

I've been trying it too. The graph does seem more-or-less accurate for me. I slept more between Sunday and Monday than I did between Monday and Tuesday, yet I was much more tired Monday morning. Looking at the graph I had a lot more deep sleep the second night than the first, so that seems to jive well with how I'm feeling.
I've never been woken more than 5 minutes early by the thing though. Nowhere near close to 30 minutes.
