At the same time City was given a penalty that shouldn't have been a penalty; and they bottled it.

It all evens out

Jamie Vardy gets his 200th goal for Leicester in his 500th game for the club. Not bad.

If Vardy was to move to a bigger club after Leicester won the Premier League, he could have scored at least 50 more in his career, but loyalty is a good thing

Right wing-back Jeremie Frimpong is set to undergo a medical at Liverpool this week as he closes in a move from Bayer Leverkusen, sources have told ESPN.

The Netherlands international is expected to become Liverpool's first signing of the summer, with the club set to trigger his £30 million ($40m) release clause.

And the race for Florian Wirtz seems on!

Looks like City backed out, Liverpool are still interested but all indications point that he's going to Bayern.

Yeah they made beating wolves look easy with half the team hung over. I didn't think var made a mistake on the henderson handling the ball outside the box. no question he did it, but once the call on the field was made only way to overturn it was for a red/if he took away a likely goal and I don't think that was the case with 100% certainty, haaland is moving towards sideline and two palace defenders are closing.

But I can certainly see the argument for a red and I'd be pissed off if it had gone against palace. I just don't think it was a stonewall override from var like rooney the donkey was on about

Sunderland is back! Can't see them stay up, but what a moment for their fans.

Mohamed Salah was named the Premier League Player of the Season on Saturday after a stellar individual campaign as Liverpool cruised to their second Premier League title while his teammate Ryan Gravenberch was named the Young Player of the Season.

Salah scored 28 goals and provided 18 assists to guide the Anfield club to the title, with Arne Slot's side winning it with four games to spare.

Having also earned the award in 2017-18, Salah became only the fifth player to win it twice after Thierry Henry, Cristiano Ronaldo, Nemanja Vidić and Kevin De Bruyne.

Salah, 32, is on course to win another Golden Boot for most goals in a season and is five strikes ahead of Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak going into the final day of the season on Sunday.

Last minute winner too, must have been a wild game. That finish for the winner was really nice

Lol! Apparently if ManU had won the Europa League there was a clause in Casemiro's contract that would have upped his wages 25% to around £437,500k/week.

What the hell is Martinez doing there? Villa looked horrible even before that red, but it's looking grim now. Door is seemingly open for Forest.

let's just say, there are players whom I feel sorry for when they are sent off. Emi Martinez is not one of them.

Funniest part is it was Hojlund who was in, who is probably 90/10 to not score there.

Newcastle saved by United and a horrendous disallowed goal.
Villa fans must be enraged.

Still time for Forest miracle to get in, but yeah Villa fans will have every right to be enraged.

Villa fans can start by throwing that rage at their own team. They have been utterly dominated by the worst United team in decades today ... they are lucky it's only 2-0, should have been much higher. Shocking performance in such an important game for them.

Oh no doubt they've been terrible, total no show with everything to play for. Still an atrocious call.
