I’m on board with the teams you chose! I don’t know that I want Villa to win the league, but it’s better than any of those.

Unai is a good manager.
Didn't work out for him at Arsenal but his track record overall is very good.
Arsenal at Villa Saturday will be a difficult one.

Why Arsenal?
We haven't won in forever and aren't built on oil or Oligarch money.

Huh? Neither are Liverpool, Spurs or United. By that standard...half of the League?

I mean Villa haven't won in even longer so the "it's been a long time" isn't a compelling argument for rooting for Arsenal when there is someone who hasn't won in an even longer time in the picture. And Arsenal, lest we forget, were one of the big drivers behind the super league, so I don't particularly view them as being a great entity. Better than Man City? Sure, but that's a pretty low bar.

All of that said, still think Man City will get it together and go on their usual February-May run where they'll win something like 17/19 and draw the other two. But at least it's been more interesting than thought so far this year. ,

Agreed but he only listed City, Arsenal & Liverpool.
I presumed the other 2 because they've recently won and been at the top a while; thus the why Arsenal question.

United has caught onto what Steve Clark and Scotland have known for a while. Let him crash the box, he’s got a legit nose for goal. He’s not a deep lying player. Get him into the action

Nevermind. That one was 'peak Spurs.'

Its like climbing 'Mount Spurs' and realizing at the 'peak' that there is another peak to summit.

Against a petro state ‘club’ going on a crazy run to finish the season, winning their games in hand and more. City were and still are far better than us.

And everyone knows why.
