I actually have no idea who would make the trade, I did have someone tell me that LA has made an offer but it obviously wasn't accepted.

Was it you mentioning you think Demko's hip is worse than communicated? Long term type thing?

It's already a long term type thing, he had surgery on both when he was at Boston College. I remember it being a concern back when the flames picked Mason Macdonald over Demko.

A story on CBC this morning.
The night before he passed away, Russell Atkins of Campbell River, B.C., watched the Vancouver Canucks lose 5–4 to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
"He watched every Canucks game even when he swore he would never watch another Canucks game," daughter Kirsten Billings said of her father.
After Atkins died on Jan. 13 at the age of 79, Billings sent an obituary to the local newspaper that included a reference to the team that had long been a part of Atkins' life, and often the bane of his existence.
"Russell would've liked to have had six of the Vancouver Canucks to be his pallbearers so they could have let him down one more time," it read.

I saw an interesting trade proposal the other night (I feel like it might of been Tim & Sid or w/e its called now) and thought it might actually be good for both teams:
VAN gets younger, basically 3 1st round picks.
NJD reunite all 3 Hughes brother.
NJD Receive:
D- Q Hughes
VAN Receives:
D - Simon Nemek
F - Dawson Mercer
1st round pick 2023
