Embiid throwing Harden under the bus mid-series is so weird. Wouldn’t mind a few more fractures in their team chemistry, though

Timberwolves should already have this series won, instead they are 3-2 down. Not quite as big a choke tonight, but another choke it is.

Do basketball jerseys fit similarly to hockey jerseys? If I have a large hockey jersey should I grab a large basketball one?

I have a basketball jersey and it's slimmer fit. Hockey jerseys are built to have equipment under which is why it's so baggy and loose. Basketball jerseys however, are long. I'd go with a size smaller than a hockey jersey, personally.

With the Heat advancing it would be a great story if the Raps could play them. I think the Raps could take them in 6.

Is Lowry expected back in round 2?

I mean, let's not get ahead of things here. They're still down in the series. And with all the trash that's been talked about the sixers and how they're going to collapse and how Harden is a liability now and Joel throwing his coach and teammate under the bus, I would not be surprised to see the Sixers come out guns blazing to try to end it in TO. Lots of talking heads have picked them to lose Game 6... They'll want to prove the narrative wrong. It'll be a tough game to win.

Dunno the extent of his injuries but I can’t think of anything short of season ending surgery where he could sit out. The fans would roast him for not playing against his former team.

Correct. And lest we forget, it's a 7 game series. You have to win back in Philly again too.

Still, it's a series now.

As much as I understand people’s comments that Lowry should have been traded for Maxey (if that was on the table), Achiuwa may not be chopped liver.

Sure. But one game at a time. And honestly, if they manage to win this one I don't care if they lose game 7. Just getting there is such a huge accomplishment for a young team. I want them to be able to play in that atmosphere and see what it is... I don't think this Raptors team is winning a championship this year obviously so it's all about getting postseason experience and a game 7 is obviously a great thing to be able to say you've been in before. Literally every single one of the NBA's very best players has been there before.

If the Raptors win tonight, I can't see a scenario where a mentally fragile Sixers team with a crippled MVP can pull out a Game 7.

I mean there's a few ways the Sixers can win a Game 7:

-Scott Foster
-Tony Brothers

So it can happen. There's also the potential for the Raps to be overconfident or even arrogant if they win tonight, that they think it's a given the Sixers choke, so they don't bring the required effort for Game 7.

If there’s a game 7 it’s a crapshoot. The crazy skeptic in me thinks the league prefers Philly to go somewhere at least from a fan perspective as they’ve had many disappointments in recent years. Both teams are pretty even and it’s a game of star heavy team vs. even distribution team. The 76ers do have a more vet team who would probably perform better under pressure, but you also have fearless rookies like Barnes who could play aggressive and make a name. It’s really a crapshoot, but if the Raps play well in any of these games the first quarter, I think they’ll have enough confidence to play well to the end. When they get behind early they play with less confidence and it shows.

Could really use one of those 16/32 from 3 kind of nights where all the open looks are falling. Kind of feels like they are due for one and you know the crowd is going to eat it up if they start falling early. Proud of the guys no matter what happens tonight, this year has been a crazy ride.

Does anyone know if FVV is available for tonight's game?

He's listed as doubtful.

I love Fred but this might be a blessing in disguise. Kendrick Perkins said on ESPN that he talked to Sixers assistant Sam Cassel after game 5. Apparently he admitted that Fred's injury was the worst thing to happen to them and that they (especially Harden) were having a hard time dealing with the Raptor's length right now.

Fred also struggled pretty badly against the Sixers in 2019, it's just not a great matchup for him. Add in the fact that he hasn't been 100% for a while and I'm fine with him sitting out of the lineup for now.

If the Raptors do get past the Sixers having a healthy Fred would be huge.

Judging by Fred’s frustration I think this one is longer term. Just guessing of course but it seems to have hung around for while.

Harden clearly has lost a step when it comes to scoring. Isn’t as quick as he used to be and doesn’t get as much separation on his step back as he used to. We’ll see what happens
