Lol, you have one injury. Surely you can cope with VVD being out. No, those other bit players don't count.
But yeah, I was thinking it would have been awesome to get together and have a pint (of wine!) and watch this. Hopefully we can make that work for the return!

One injury? We're fielding two Academy players! Just to make the numbers!

Lol Arsenal are truly special, level the match up? Pft, can't banter that, so might as well have another player sent off. Robbie from AFTV needs to start deciding which island he's gonna buy with the money this season will make him.

Centre back is the only big issue, missing all 3 senior players today. Big game for Rhys Williams, time to see what he’s got!

He looked steady the last time he played.

But that centre back issue is killing our midfield. With Thiago injured and Fabinho playing CB it murders our midfield creativity.

You'd think Mourinho would want to maybe challenge that Liverpool defense, but then again he's a simple man who's here to chew gum and park the bus. And he's all out of gum. Although hopefully that goal will open the game up.

That was a beautiful goal. Sure, complete fluke, but it just nestles beautifully in the net there.

Looks offside.
Edit: Maybe not.

Yeah. Like we're going to get that call.
Its close either way, I'm not too interested in offside by micrometres. Its close enough.

Williams got caught in between on that one. Where was the 20 minute review?

This is a prime Mourinho game though, been thoroughly outplayed, but one long ball + Son = Profit.

This is the problem. Its a textbook Mourinho game. He's parked every bus in the greater London area in front of his net.
But our best passing playmakers are either injured or playing CB.

Basically a Mourinho masterclass so far. Lucky deflection for Salah aside, that’s a good half. Klopp is angry, and who knows about what. Hopefully they’re getting frustrated; it has to be incredibly frustrating to seemingly dominate and have nothing to show for it. I know that as a fan when we’ve played Mourinho teams in the past that it’s infuriating and I wouldn’t expect it to be easier to be on the pitch!

Well that sequence was probably Spurs chance at stealing this, two glorious chances wasted.

Pool is fortunate to not be two down.
Spurs defending is disciplined. Never diving in, team effort in returning to cover lanes.
