Don't agree with Burke about Oleksiak's tripping penalty. You intentionally skate through someone's feet and take them out, it's as dangerous and dirty as a slewfoot. The other player falls backwards and risks smashing their head on the ice.

The refs have been wildly inconsistent this game for both teams. Calling some penalties they shouldn’t and letting things go that probably should be called. Makes no damn sense.

20 minutes for a 3-1 series lead.
Come out, kill this penalty and then push. This has to be the best period of the playoffs for our top players. This is an absolutely huge period.

Preach Burke.
But that Oleksiak trip is as blatant as Bennett’s charge. Could’ve blown Dubes knee.

I saw him load that shot up like 50 times back in the Gulutzan days, Dougie Hamilton would never pass it to him and shoot on net instead. Probably my biggest frustration about that second unit was Hamilton's lack of vision.

Only reason Dallas is in this is because of the refs. Garbage team getting outplayed 5 on 5 playing perimeter hockey. Benn and Seguin are big time frauds.

The jumping makes it a charge, the fact he was already hit and a little vulnerable made it more blatant.

The intermission crew is also talking about it.
Seems like it's a point of discussion because it's dictating the game so much?

Khoudobin looks leakier than an old pipe, Flames need to keep firing.
Also, Stars players notice that from their goalie, which puts them in a different defensive mindset, trying collapse down to prevent even the easy shots, which could give our skilled guys a chance to make a move and get an even better chance.

Here's what I don't get about NHL officiating:
Why do refs get a pass because it's difficult? Why do we need a disclaimer that it's a difficult job, etc... I'm sorry, lots of people have difficult jobs but they aren't allowed to continually make mistakes and continue to have one.

Agreed. Dallas is giving us way more space because Khudobin has been shaky.
Flames have to take advantage, and take a stranglehold on this series.

The reff bashing is 100% warranted, almost every game I watch(even non -Flames) I’m amazed by their incompetence
