Is anyone else's one soccer super stuttery? I'm wondering if the virtual stadium is having a bad effect?

I’m really enjoying having Farsi on this team, great set up!

Solid win! Not a thriller by any means, but a well-deserved result.
Farsi looks promising. Great work rate.
And those reds with white shorts for the first time in action? Beautiful. If that's the silver lining from the all black away kits thing - I'll take it. So sharp and clean.

Consensus at the Rose and Crown was that Farsi was a very good pick up. Great scouting by the club. First win, first club to not concede two. Valour continue to look poor despite bringing in some solid players. Have a feeling Gale is gone at the end of the year.

More scheduling changes. The games that were to be played on Thursday afternoon will now be played at 6 pm. Excellent...

CPL got nothing from the federal government. But the PEI government helped out.
Quote:
Clanachan said the league, which had asked the federal government for “short-term financing” of $15 million to survive the pandemic, is receiving assistance from the P.E.I government.
“They stepped up and they helped us … with the hotel and some of the areas from a cost perspective,” said Clanachan.
“They also came forward with some actual funding,” he added.

Forge drew HFX Wanderers tonight. Gives Cavalry a chance to top the table with a win tomorrow night against Edmonton.
Wanderers look a decent side this year.

Forge didn't look like the better side either in that match. They got a fortunate penalty. Feels good to see the bloom off the rose a little bit.

Just thought I’d throw this out there. Chris Kooy, the first captain for FCE in 2011 in the NASL and longtime Calgary Callies player and captain has been fighting stage IV colon cancer. This past week they’ve stated he can no longer receive any treatment. FCE will be honouring him in their next match: https://canpl.ca/article/fc-edmonton...-cancer-battle
There’s a link for a gofundme in there as well. He has a girlfriend and a young daughter.
I played against Chris for many years. He is one of the best I’ve ever played against. Was a huge part of the Callies AMSL dynasty, winning multiple national titles. I was lucky enough to play with him for Calgary United for a couple seasons as well where I got to know him pretty well. He is an absolute class act, and this is sad to see. One of the best players ever from Calgary, and a really good person.

Worth mentioning that Tommy would have played with Kooy for many seasons, so this will be tough for him.
