I look forward to 13 months from now, when Canada is run by another Trudeau, the US is run by another Clinton, and the entire Right of North America loses its s**t.

Right and left have vastly different meanings in the US & Canada my friend.
EDIT: PS: You seriously look forward to them electing Hillary? Yikes.

Nice. Still no change to Confederation's status though?

Most conservatives would likely vote democrat except those that would've voted Canadian Alliance back in the 90's.
The right in Canada is more or less the center in America.

Kent is certainly loved by his supporters. I would think Trudeau has to consider him for a cabinet spot to get some Alberta representation in there.

No, and they've been stuck at 215 polls reporting for a LONG time.
Meanwhile, Weber has declared victory, and CBC has called it for Weber--but CTV hasn't, and Grant hasn't conceded.
With all that said, the lead is 1300 ish with 18 polls left. Really hard to imagine a path for victory for Grant, which is too bad, as he really is a great guy.

Interestingly, David Wilks was announced elected for the CPC in Kootenay-Columbia... but now the NDP candidate Wayne Stetski is challenging hard... he was actually ahead briefly, now behind by 158 votes with 7 polls remaining.

Wow!
Right at the very end, Amarjeet Sohi of the Liberal party came from behind to win Edmonton Mill Woods out from under the incumbent CPC candidate Tim Uppal by 80 votes!

I voted for Crockatt in hopes of staving off a Liberal majority and because I prefer the Conservative platform but I am elated that Kent Hehr won when it's all said and done. Although local representation matters little to less at the federal level, he's a great local candidate who is highly engaged with his constituents. And I'm happy to have at least one more Albertan representative in the fold of our new government.
Congrats, Kent.

Also, voter turnout, though it's hard to estimate until all of the votes are counted, looks to be in excess of 66%. Interesting to see where that lands. Don't recall what it was in 2011, but I feel like it was much lower.

Overlooked aspect of Trudeau's victory, a President Trump won't be able to make fun of our PM's looks.

61-ish range if I recall in 2011. So a significant jump if it's actually 66%.

Finally some more results in Calgary Confederation, and... they are not good for Grant. Down over 1500 votes now with just 7 polls left to be counted.
Has to be all over now.

And CTV is calling Confederation for Webber, finally.
That's a wrap for the Calgary races, I think.

Yeah, Hogan was confident that he was going to have bigger gains in the polls south of 16th avenue which was where he was predicted to do better.
Really unfortunate, Len Webber is a pro-lifer, which in 2015 is just insane.
