I actually tried to find out recently how long this partnership lasts with TSN and BeIn and couldn't find anything.

Seems TSN signed the agreement in late 2014 and sub licensed rights to BeIn. TSN's media release said it was Multi-Year.

BeIn appears to be a pretty large multinational specialty sports channel and they had a hard time getting on Canadian TV. Due to our protectionist TV rules BeIn had to partner with Ethnic Channels Canada to even get on TV.

Either way, I'm willing to bet that TSN subsidized a huge portion of their bid for Champions League by selling the primo games to BeIn for a hefty cost. It was the only way that channel could justify it's existence at $20/mth.
