To do ROC strikes, I need the expansion right?

As a fresh level 21, looking out at the grind to get any better gear is daunting. I'm not too keen on doing Crucible for a month to get some better gear.

You can buy all of your gear at the tower, that'll get you to 31. Just run strikes, dailies, weeklies and complete bounties. You don't need to touch Crucible.

Yeah ok, I think that'll be my plan.

I don't think I can do any weeklies yet, I'll need some better gear first.

are you talking about running through the weekly? What level would I need to be to not be entirely useless?

Gah... I need to 2 more coins for the icebreaker. But the obsidian mind looks really good as well. Something about being able to pretty much use nova bomb constantly is very enticing... but that ice breaker though. Would come in so handy cheesing some of the strikes, especially that mars one with the rocket launcher dood.

Haha my back is quite strong! I am talking about running you guys through VoG normal mode. 24 is the bare minimum you need to be to get in. If you're real good at the game you can be 24 or 25 and help out a decent amount. You may die a lot, but it's only normal so no worries! 26 is a good place to be. Once you hit 28 you can start doing Nightfall/Crota too

I was in the same situation! I had 20 coins, and really wanted the glasshouse helm for my titan, so I bought that thinking the weekly would be easy to grab another 9 coins, but the two guys I was playing with sucked. Thankfully I got the weekly done later with some better players and got me an icebreaker!
I honestly don't know if I'll use it a lot, because I really love my patience and time, but it seems like it'll be good for running crotas end.

Ok I have two request. Stupid soccer got I the way last nighf.

1. I am finally free tonight and would like to run the daily etc. anyone up for it anytime after 6 is good for me. I should be on a bunch tonight.

2. My son is playing and is a level 25 Titan. He is young (7 I know and my wife has already given me crap but he likes it and there are worse games he can play ). Since I don't want want to buy another ps4 so we can play with others without matching making, I was wondering if anyone would help him thru a few of the expansion missions. He is almost at vanguard rank two. If you are able to help let me know.
