I am a big Bocephus fan but that kind of crap is just ridiculous in its inflammatory nature and a microchasm of why the US is in the shape it is in. Good for ESPN.....that is just way over the top nonsense.

I can't believe there are actually Bocephus fans. His father in heaven must be wracked with guilt for inflicting this talentless, drunk rube on the world.

Hank Williams was no saint himself. He managed to drink himself to death by the age of 29. Was kicked out of the Opry because of his drunk antics. Its a shame really, the guy had a boatload of talent.
I know Jr's a big Steelers fan. I still remember when they won the SB in '05, and Kimmel had a live show right after in Detroit (host of that SB), to have on a couple players. Kimmel had Hank Williams Jr on first, and he came out just stinkin drunk, and smoked a cigar throughout the entire interview. He was so loaded and saying the weirdest stuff, man what a yokel.
I still can't believe III turned out as well as he did.
Yeah, because anybody who hangs out with this guy....
certainly has his #### together.

yeah I understand he hasnt been the problem...but that team has so many holes/weaknesses I was more making a joke as he will just fall into the abyss that the Fins have become.
This is a really really good year to tank like they are however as I believe Andrew Luck is about as much of a sure thing as any QB since Peyton Manning....now Miami just has to figure out how to finish below the Colts and Minnesota...as i believe either one would take Luck in a nanosecond.
If the Steelers made the Superbowl the previous season...bet on them to miss the playoffs the following season.

I don't know if the Vikings would as they did spend a first round pick on Christian Ponder this past draft. Frazier seems to be pretty adamant that he's the future in Minnesota.
Not so sure about the Colts either, that would be a lot of cap space to have tied up at the QB position when Manning returns next year.
To me Miami, Kansas City, and Seattle are the three teams who look like they're bad enough to end up with the worst record in the league, and who need a QB. Colts need a QB...but probably not for another 3-4 years. If they're the worst team in the league this year, I think they'd trade down, and take one of the other guys like Barkley or Landry Jones. With the new rookie compensation scale, and Luck being who he is, I think there would be a market for teams looking to move up to that pick.

"We were a better team than those guys. We went out there, and we didn't perform at our highest level. We're a run-first team, you know, and we throw the ball second. So once we get behind like that, it's hard for us to catch up. That was a tough lesson learned, but it was a good lesson learned because we're more focused this year. I feel like we're a better team this year, and we'll be ready to get after those guys."
Let's see if he can back it up.

maybe...but if a coach chooses Ponder over Luck...he will be looking for work sooner rather than later and with Minnesota looking to build a new stadium etc, it would be a no brainer to draft a franchise QB and deal Ponder elsewhere.

Dunno about that. Polian is no dummy and with injury concerns surrounding his 35 YO QB along with the cap on rookie salaries, i dont think he would hesitate to go after Luck and let Manning tutor him for a couple years. Much like the Favre/Rodgers situation...which turned out OK for GB.
