Crowd has no idea who he is. He'll get over like most comedy acts in WWE. He won't win much, he'll mostly be back stage and web stuff and he will make a giant ####ing pile of money on merch.
The problem is there are no real big names they can debut anymore. Everyone prominent is signed to the two different companies. Jericho is still signed to AEW, and I wonder if they're just not using him as way to "hurt" momentum in WWE. Everyone expected him to be at Rumble or in the box, so when it's not him everyone is disappointed.
Meanwhile Jericho terrible nowadays anyway, and wouldn't add much to the roster. Keys and Danhausen add more to the roster in 2026 than Jericho would. Yet everyone loves that nostalgia bait that Jericho would add... but I mean c'mon the guy is 55! He would be the oldest active wrestler on the roster. Four years older than Mysterio! How much are they realistically going to get out of him? They'd be better off giving Jeff Hardy a send-off now that he's apparently cleaned up his act.
