I could be wrong but it didn't seem like a slide to break up a DP, just looked like a crappy slide.

Yeah you'd think the Jays would come out swinging this series, but they've been as listless as ever. Best case is a tiebreaker game at this point because the Tigers and Orioles are stepping up and the Jays will be lucky to win a game this series.
