Putting your plates on the counter top above an empty dishwasher is one of the most annoying things on planet earth. It’s like stopping in a merge lane on a wide open road. Just causing unnecessary congestion.

I like few things more than adding some whiskey to a Coke slurpee.

I tend to wait until movies have been out for a while before going, and even then, I try to go to off peak showings so that there are as few people as possible.

I didn't imagine I would need to explain, I assure you I'm not trying to stretch my slurpee dollar.
They're too damn sweet, that's the issue.

I appreciate the quirk, but you are a lunatic! Haha.
They should do a comedy bit where the 7/11 cashier takes slurpees and runs water from that sink into it like an Americano coffee and watch people’s faces.

To counteract this madness, I'm going to buy two slurpees, take them home and dump them into a saucepan to reduce them down to one and refreeze it for extra concentrated sweetness and returning balance to the universe.

I guess I should go see Oppenheimer in 70mm as that's probably an older crowd and hopefully wouldn't suffer from the same problem, but it was just such a bad experience and leaves such a sour taste in your mouth.

From what I've read on Reddit and heard around, you'd be surprised. Quite a few people are complaining that not only did they pay to see Oppenheimer, but paid more for the 70mm experience, and still people won't shut up and just watch the movie anymore.
I used to go to the theatre once a week. It's gotten so bad that I was having to shush/report multiple people per screening...so I've just stopped going myself. Less stress, and I'm just working up a good home theatre now.

sit in a movie theatre in marginally comfortable seats surrounded by people (people are the worst) and have to pay too much to watch the film and eat/drink
of
sit in my basement on my comfortable couch, watching the movie in glorious HD, while being able to eat what and when I want and!!!! being able to pause it to go pee or get more drinks/food.
how is these even a contest.

Agreed, but this isn’t as bad. The cascading effect from dishes on the counter impact everything from grocery pick up to meal prep.

It's more efficient to load in a batch than to keep opening and closing it for one thing at a time. So there! Now, the people who stack a plate full of cutlery on top of another plate full of cutlery need to be whipped.

No way man. You’ve turned one task into two. Do you have a lock and key on the thing or something?

I suppose that depends on the makeup of your household, agreed. It becomes an issue for those in the home who are disabled.
I don't mind if my crew places dishes next to the sink, provided they are stacked neatly/properly. I prefer to be the one loading the dishwasher, as I can get far more in it, than anyone else, lol. It's the placing them willy-nilly across the counter and piling them up in the sink that irritates me no end.
