It might also explain why Guillermo Martínez hasn’t been fired.

I’ve thought for a while that he was still around because the Jays didn’t want to upset Vladdy after trading away his friends. But the Jays might be keeping him around because he is close to Vladdy and he needs that with his mom being sick.

So glad that bloop didn't cost them. When the batter slams his bat in frustration he doesn't deserve a hit.

That play reminded me of that BS bloop the Royals had against the Jays that sparked their big comeback in 2015.

I miss Semien. He briefly regressed but came back this year. Would be really nice if he was still on the Jays.

Would be amazing if the standings could work itself out so Toronto faces the Twins. The Rays always perform when it matters.
