Hey, some of the Precious Snowflakes in this thread haven't figured this out yet.

Will do if I run for mayor.

For those curious here's a first hand account from one of the artsvote volunteers on what Barb said to them after talking to McCourt.

http://www.reddit.com/r/Calgary/comments/dr8o4/higgins_the_tale_of_two_faceson_and_off_camera/

Take it for what it is, but all of the artsvote volunteers who were there are saying the same thing.

I listened to the x92.9 interview and thought that Roger took it a little bit too far at one point, but he really had a valid argument about her not releasing policy/platform until at most 2 weeks ago. That should have been available on nomination day.

That was actually the notorious windbag Craig Chandler. Him and his PGIB cronies have been pushing some racial agendas in the ward 14 race over the last couple of days. Accusing one of the candidates of splitting the asian vote against their guy, which will then cost them the race against Fox-Melway.

How is she going to effectively negotiate with the province or other parties if she's going to get this razzled?

At this point, I honestly see her as just a puppet to whomever is controlling the strings from behind the scenes. Call me paranoid, but that is kind of a scary thought IMO.
Well, you might be a little paranoid. Just to be clear, I don't in any way support Higgins for mayor, I just am pointing out that she has failed to capitalize on what's possibly her best asset.

A group of volunteers who are trying to inform voters on each Candidates Arts policy. http://artsvotecalgary.ca/

They've been pretty active during the campaign, hosting forums and holding events to get people engaged in the arts and the election in general.

If you're looking for demographics, they're probably within the 25-35 age group and most are active within the Arts community (heads of theatre groups, Art galleries, and other foundations).

According to the latest tweet from DJ Kelly we should be told what it is within the hour.

Edit: Could it be something like a non-partisan group like ArtsVote endorsing Nenshi after the incident with Higgins this morning?
