I know Robocop had a gigantic telephoto lens, but how far can it see?

And how can it see in the dark an object that is possibly a mile away or more?

I liked it as well, the Season has really picked up as it went along
the only thing I didn't get, was the Jordan Chase thing supposed to be a surprise?
I thought when Dex first focused on his watch and asked him about it that he was one of the guys
great ending too with Liddy taking the pictures

I was reading another forum and someone pointed out that based on the photos we saw, Robocop only had pictures of them loading the luggage onto the boat, not of them dumping the pieces.
He might be under the impression that Dexter and Lumen are fleeing the country, rather than the more sinister truth. Of course, when Dexter is back in Miami the next day, his thoughts might change.
The one thing I find strange is how Dexter and Lumen don't appear to be hiding anything about their activities any more. Last week (or the week before), she was getting packages delivered to Rita's house because Dexter didn't want her out of the house. Now, she's all over the place, seemingly without a care in the world, or concern that people will wonder who the woman living in Dexter's old house might be.

The pictures robocop took of Dex and Lu were on the dock, they had suitcases with them... The fact he saw the poly and supplies in her car when he got her info is probably more suspicious
Is it just me but it seems like Peter Weller is channeling the bad guy from robocop? (red forman) He looks just like him now...

I like how the story with LaGuerta and Batista is playing out. It seemed pretty useless in the build up to them getting married, but now the whole department is ready to explode because LaGuerta is trying to cover her butt and blame Deb.
The whole Deb not feeling bad about killing is interesting as well. I think this could lead up to her finding out about Dexter.
But really how many all-nighters is the nanny going to pull before she cracks and becomes the next serial killer.

I think Dexter is smart enough to know the difference between not feeling bad about, as opposed to actively enjoying, killing. Deb is fundamentally a moral actor who has very definite ideas about right and wrong - which is why it bothers her so much that she doesn't feel any remorse about killing someone, as she thinks that she should.
He won't ever (of his own free will) reveal himself to Deb because he knows that she would view him as irredeemably evil, in which she would be absolutely correct. That's why I find her the most admirable character in the show, as she is the one who always tries to do the right thing, and judges herself no less harshly than she judges anyone else. Dexter is her opposite - the man who enforces judgement on others despite being no better himself than those he judges.

"Tick tick tick, that's the sound of your life running out." I thought that was pretty weak for Dexter to jump to Jordan being involved in the rapings/killings. I mean, maybe Cole would be around his boss all the time; maybe he just picked up an oft-used catch phrase? I'm sure Dexter will get more proof, though.

I think Lumen has shown there to be differences between the 'tick tick tick' guys and the 'neat folding coat guy' that thinking Cole was the tick tick tick guy is not right at all.
Dexter seems to kill innocents every season now though when it is against his rules, so who knows wtf he will do.

Dexter is becoming more reckless with his killing. Same as last season when he becomes emotionally involved with killing he starts to make mistakes.
In the first 3 seasons he was always careful and collected now he seems to not prep properly and take lots of chances. Each season he changes the code a little more to serve himself instead of his Dad's original plan of keeping him out of Jail
As for Dex and Lumen relationship I think they will have a Micheal Jackson / Percilla Presley relationship. Show on the outside but plutonic with some sort of love on the inside.

I am too. Laguerta used to be a tough broad in the early seasons but really turned into a sap in the last few. I think her being an unpredictable cop with conflicting feelings of self-promotion, self-defense, and stubborness vs her desire to serve and protect and having a relationship with Batista is far more interesting than what we have seen from her recently.
Stiles isn't much of an actress. I guess we haven't seen Astrid or Cody recently so we need to have a display of terrible acting.

She delivers the lines but doesn't seem to have any emotion behind them.

That's the point of the character, is that she is empty right now
the only emotion she has shown is fear, I think Stiles has done a really good job with it

Cole didn't wear a watch did he? That's some good proof if you ask me. Dexter was suspicious when they both walked into the department and he complemented his watch as well. That line was all he needed to confirm it.

Stiles has been good so far. Felt bad for the guy that she left at the alter in the season. Man that guy got screwed over
