Yesterday Tommy wasn't yelling at 201, it was the group that sits on the end of the 200's. I sit at the edge of 201 and heard it all. Tommy basically told them to go to hell and that the boys put in full effort but not much you can do when there is horrible reffing.

I've also been to most of the games and since day one. I've also been to other events and seen some of the interactions between these groups and Tommy...it's frankly perplexing to me. I don't think I'm going to endear myself to people here if I say a lot more than that.

And as far as the Horsemen or Footsoldiers, I haven't got a clue. I didn't know there were two groups.

I always knew there are two groups, the way I tell them apart is the group that sits closer to 201 (but still the 200's) I would describe as looking like they could belong to an aryan nation group (not saying they are, just look that way) and the footsoldiers are a much more diverse group.

I was right there yesterday, only a couple of metres away. He was getting into it with the Horsemen, who are not the Foot Soldiers. They are a different group.

I’ve never heard of the Horesman, are those the guys that are by the Ultras flag?

That's them (the Horsemen Ultras). They are in 201. The staircase between 200 and 201 is the unofficial divider, so to speak.

Gotcha. I am the ‘seats’ right in front of those guys (we all are still 200s). I left right at the end of the game so I didn’t hear the argument.

I am glad that the expectation begins at success. We should not accept a tie against the worst team in the league as anything but an embarrassment. Cavalry could have easy been walked for three goals in the first half if it weren't for player error from valor.

Next home game is against Forge. I'd hate to see anything but a win.

Okay so there are 4 supporters groups that I am aware of.

1. Foot Soldiers - We are in Section 200 in the corner. If you go up the stairs into the section we're on the right.
2. Frontline Ultras - If you go up the stairs into the section they are on the left. I always mistakenly think they are in section 201 but I think that is actually 200.
3. The Mighty 109 - These folks are in 109.
4. The 203 - These folks are in 203.

The issue was between Tommy and the ultras. Of course it was photographed in front of one of our banners which confuses things and the club just lumps us all into one group anyways so it is what it is.

As for the crowd not being at their best, I'd agree, but also I'd counter that the crowd tends to match the energy on the pitch. Wasn't a lot to get us going and the frustration of multiple poor efforts against teams they shoupd beat adding to it.

Ah yes, sorry to all - I got the name wrong, it's the Frontline Ultras (not the Horsemen Ultras). I also always just kind of assume that 201 is left when you go up those stairs, and to be honest, I'll keep thinking that and not care... it's 201 in my mind.

Since we are talking about support groups anyways.

The foot soldiers need to deliberate about who gets to drum. It Sounds like this year they are letting just anyone bang on it. If you can't keep time you should not hold the drum.

Think you forgot the People's Front of Cavalry and the Cavalry People's Front.

I have to admit, Pacific vs the Whitecaps, Forge vs TFC are some great matchups for the can Champ.

I like it too. The tournament was structured so that something regional like this could possibly happen. Great for the league. If even one of those matches results in a CPL victory it will be massive.

It is shame that the Cavs aren't there, but I'm fine with Pacific potentially getting the better of the Whitecaps.

Forge is trickier because FTF. "Good for the league" and all that, and I respect what they did to Montreal... but do we need another "Forever First" for them? But I will admit that it is a tasty match up and good for the CPL and the Canadian Championship.

I know that they "qualified" for the final in 2020, but that was different and doesn't count. The league will need a cold shower if they get to the final properly.
