Not sure if a lot of people know he's from the Six Nations Reserve outside of Toronto, his mother was Cayuga and Mohawk.

The statement released about his death also asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Six Nations to help build a Cultural Centre.
Even though he was up there in age, it's pretty surprising news. I remember seeing pictures of him from a few months ago and it was crazy how good and healthy he looked for an 80 year old, but I guess that doesn't necessarily mean much.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.

My parents had a copy of The Last Waltz that they "forced" my sister and I to watch when I was younger. Glad they did. RIP Robbie.

Music For The Native Americans and Contact From The Underworld of Redboy are albums of Robertson's that I only came across in the last year or so and are really good. Great music for journeys of the plant variety.
