Really happy with Lucic so far. Doesn’t give the puck away, not a liability in his own end, able to maintain possession in the offensive zone and has stood up for his teammates. Essentially the antithesis to Neal last year.

What more does Bennett have to do to earn some more ice time? I really hope the reason he’s not on the second line is because they’re sheltering Frolik.

Props to the Flames for sticking with it after constantly having their momentum sucked away by phantom penalties. Great response from the whole team in that period.

Move Bennet to 2nd line and use Reider on 3rd.

I would consider a Mangiapane - Bennett - Tkachuk line, and then Lucic-Backlund-Ryan/Czarnik

I enjoyed Lucic going after Zadorov. Forgot what it's like having a Neanderthal on the team. And hes gonna get 20 goals this year. That's my wild and wacky Flames prediction.
