Yeah a 2 way parlay of a $1000 moneyline bet was like $83 payout. I mean if you can afford to stake a million and find a house to take that bet it will win you a night out in Vegas.

Bringing back this post as I and others initially shot down their chances. According to ESPN;
Things are looking good for the Bills but then again they have beaten the Jets, Giants, and Bengals. Their schedule actually looks pretty favorable today to finishing 8-8 or better as some of the teams on their schedule like the Steelers, Broncos, and Eagles look totally winnable now.

I doubt you guys care but I started following the NFL again last year and I even posted on here because I wasn't sure I wanted to cheer for the Bills (even though they were my team in the past).
But in the end I went with my heart and followed them all last year and had a blast watching them even though it was a losing season.
Josh Allen has got a ton of heart and if you don't watch the games and just look at his stat lines he doesn't seem impressive but he always seems to rise to the occasion.
NE vs. Buf next week should be fun!

I think the bills will be lucky to score 14 points.
NE is 7 point favorites which is too low IMO.
Lets not forget that they beat the Giants and beat the Jets and bengals by a combined 4 points. They don't stand a chance against NE.

No such a thing as a perfect system unfortunately, and that one is still a massive work in progress. Bills have had a pretty easy schedule so far but good on them for taking advantage. Still don't think they're a playoff team, but they should be able to hit 8 wins at this rate.
I think they're gonna be a playoff team. They are basically already at 8 wins with remaining games against Miami (x2), the Jets, Redskins, and Broncos. That defense is absolutely elite, maybe even the best in the league, so like the Bears last year they need game management from the QB and nothing stupid and they can beat anyone.

7-6 game, in control, Bridgewater hadn't completed a pass. Carson with his 3rd fumble 3 games, gives Saints a gift TD.
Go back to Carson next drive on 3rd and 1 and then 4 and 1 and he fails both, Saints go from there with good field position to score.
Not calling timeout 2nd to last play at end of half prevents end of half fg.
3rd td result of a missed fg, but penalty for illegal formation keeps drive alive and another td.
Wilson's only had 2 incomplete passes all game but Seattle is down by 20.
Yeah Seahawks were sloppy for sure. The Saints had a pretty rough start as well and were clearly struggling from the noise..2nd and 25 and 2nd and 20 on the first two drives, basically ruined them before they started with pre-snap penalties. Then that fumbled PR by Harris (after his TD the first one) deep in Saints territory that led to points. And one of the Seahawks TDs came on a drive where the Saints had stopped it and seemingly forced a punt, but got flagged for defensive holding away from the play and an auto 1st down. Seattle also scored two TDs in the final 3 mins to make the score appear closer than it was, including one right at the buzzer.
I felt Seahawks were making lots of mistakes out there, but also felt Kamara and DeMario Davis had monster games for the Saints. I don't know how AK dances out of all those tackles every game, it's nuts. Bridgewater didn't really have to do much out there, he seemed nervous early but played with noticeably more confidence and poise in the second half I felt. I'm curious to get another look at him next week and see if that trend continues.

If you look at the latter portion of the second half of that game, they basically let Wilson be Wilson, and the only reason they lost was missed 4th down conversions that wouldn't have even been a factor if they weren't down by a bunch already, because they would have just punted. Wilson himself accounted for 450 yards and 4 TDs (51/2 on the ground).
If they just played with Wilson as the center point of their offense, instead of an occasional complement to their run game, they'd be a better team. They're paying him so much money and they're wasting a huge chunk of it because they don't use him to his full ability.

Nah, Wilson needs a solid running game. Of course if it gets low yard or turnover it looks bad, but the threat needs to
always be there, and Carson can break them. All Qbs do need a good run game, but Wilson especially as he's not a straight pocket passer and his height is also part of that and a reason he's not going to stand in there a lot. That was painfully evident the season or two after Lynch left. Toss in not really having a #1 WR thst can be counted on, for most of his time in Seattle. Kearse and Baldwin were very good and underrated, but not the top guy.
So they need the run to setup the pass. Without a "top" receiver, he needs the time to find a guy. Tight ends have been a favourite, from Zach Miller to Willson, and now Dissly. It's the reason they got Graham, but he was too prominent and was covered moreso then a no name TE.
Without a bonifide to WR, he relies on those tight ends and those guys are open especially when the defense thinks there is a run coming.
He also needs the legit threat of a run to be able to pull it out and run on his own, and that only happens if the defense cares about the RB.
So they need a workhorse runner, currently Carson, to step up or else. Procise isn't that workhorse guy, nor is Penney. If Wilson doesn't have the threat of a tough running back, hes a lot less effecive then other Qbs.
Carson fumbled, and didn't get those yards on the next series, and the Saints fed off that. One or both of those plays goes different and Seattle has a great shot of winning that game.

It's a bad look for the league and also throws off the competitive balance as they are free wins for every team that has them on the schedule. Would be tough to take if a teams end up battling with Buffalo for a wild card near the end of the year knowing they had two games against the Dolphins to pad their record. The Browns had the winless season a few years back but they had two OT losses and six games decided by one score. This Dolphins team isn't nearly that competitive.
