Can't pass, needs to sit, not the Flames "true" number one center. Lol 😂 too funny the things posted here about him. Guy isn't allowed a bad streak.
Still had 4 points in 5 games in his "Massive slump" too

Noticed Monahan and Lindholm carrying the puck in more tonight. With teams focusing on Johnny I think they may have realized that that was the best way to create time and space.
Monahan has the puck distribution skills to make that work. It must feel nice to play like more of the centre again.

If Ryan gets a third I want it to be just as goofy as the first two.

Some people forget how Monahan was the only forward to show up in the playoffs two years ago. Dudes a damn stud, sorry if he is human sometimes. Look at his point totals and be happy

The 2nd goal was wonky but Rittich's made some good saves since then.

Apparently they were talking a lot and having line meetings trying to figure it out.

Safe to say they recaptured their former form tonight.

I said earlier that I couldn't relax even with a 2 goal lead, but with a 3 goal lead I'm fine.

IMO because as a PKer you are more of a winger with some free safety responsibility As a center you have an extra 30-50 feet of defensive responsibility on most shifts.

I believe Jankowski would work nicely with Frolik type responsibilities 5v5.

I love how everything Francis says, just ends up going the opposite immediately after he says it. You could almost take it to the bank Gaudreau was going to light up after that comment.
