I went back and rewatched the last season of Clone Wars. In the second viewing you realize how brilliant it was and just not in the storylines. The animation style had really matured, just watching Ahsoka's facial expressions and her eyes. The sound effects and sound tracks and the action sequences.
The little details. They replicated the ROTJ scene where Vader senses his son on the shuttle, and lets them go. They did the exact same thing with Anakin and Ahsoka, where he lets her ship go.
The exchanges between Ahsoka and Kenobi on multiple occasions where she shows just how much her opinion of the Jedi and the Republic have dropped.
The last time that she see's Skywalker without the mask after he gives her the lighsabers and she can't say what she wants to say.
The scene on Mandalore when Bo realizes that things have shifted and the Clones aren't liberators but an occupation and policing force.
Oh and Maul revealing the plan by Sidious and Ahsoka not being able to break past her belief in Skywalker and the Jedi to believe him, and later Maul after being captured screaming that they should let him die and they were all going to die.
The moment that she feels the turn of Anakin and the order 66 actions.
Just so well worth the rewatch.
That last scene where Vader finds the lightsaber and we get some amazing foreshadowing of their future duel where one of his eye pieces was see through, hinting at the results of their duel in Rebels.
Oh, and the other thing, when we saw the Stormtroopers and they were silent, whereas you could hear the clones talking to each other, the Troopers were talking in their radios and we couldn't hear them, it was the moment that you realized that the Clone Troopers had been just as deceived by the Emperor as everyone else.

I think I'm way more excited for Hayden Vader and Obi-Wan reuniting than I should be. Those two are just so watchable even with the world's worst script.
I hope they make sand castles together.
Not very excited about Rangers and Rogue Squadrons. They're going to have to change my mind on that. I hope they do..
Lando needs to be young Lando.

They can use Hayden in the Ashoka series and the Obi-Wan series,
I'm excited by the Rogue Squadron books because it brings then into canon which is awesome.
I would love to see a Tie Fighter series, I think they need one series from the view point of the Empire, though Acolyte sounds like its Sith oriented. Jedi don't have Acolytes, Sith do.
Could we see Darth Tenebrous or Plagueis manipulating behind the scenes? Or even Tenebrous' unknown master.

I was ready to give up on the whole Star wars series, but having Jenkins onboard has given me renewed hope.

I suspect that Rangers will be a starring vehicle for Gina Carano. If it is, I don't know how much of it will be focused on space battles.
Rogue Squadron will be a theatrical release, so that automatically separates it from the Disney+ series.
I wonder how closely it will be related to the Rogue Squadron book series? It's been 20 years since I read them, but I remember them being some of my favourite stuff from the EU.

Of the three I'm most intrigued by the film. They could really channel the best of what that source material had to offer. If that's what it's based off of. The director came across as genuinely excited and well-suited for the gig as well.
I found Cassian Andor's character to be kind of dull and not someone that would be my first choice to follow around for 12 episode seasons. Hopefully the supporting cast are a lot of fun like the Rogue One crew were. It will need that.
Ahsoka, Mando, Obi-Wan, Acolyte and Lando have a lot of potential, based on the characters / time periods and where they can go with them.

If The Acolyte borrows even half of the Plagueis novel I’m sold.
