Agostino may have scored or it went off Grant. Not sure yet.

Grant is second in the AHL in goals, one behind the leader having played 6 fewer games. I haven't done the math, but with a quick look he appears to be top 5 in points per game. Considering also that he's 6'3", 200 lbs, and I think we know who should get the call.

There is something else to consider when the Flames call people up. If they call someone up to replace someone who is injured it will probably be the best player to fill that void. If they call someone up after selling some assets, they will be calling some guys up to see how they are developing. The latter means Grant will possibly be out in the cold when call-ups come but Agostino, Poirier, Hathaway & Klimchuk could see some games.

I see the Oilers are like the Flames in that their farm team employs the same systems as the parent club.

Whichever win percentage best gets 4th playoff spot in Pacific. Either 5th place crossover team from Central or 4th place team in Pacific. Right now Lake Erie get 3rd seed in Pacific and San Jose 4th seed. But we have games in hand. San Jose is the team we need to catch!
Central Division GP W L OTL SL PTS PCT
5. Lake Erie Monsters 45 22 16 4 3 51 0.567
Pacific Division GP W L OTL SL PTS PCT
3. San Jose Barr 41 19 14 5 3 46 0.561
4. Stockton Heat 37 18 16 1 2 39 0.527

I've already asked the Heat how to get one. They only had them available at the Heat store at the game. They might be putting them online though as it seems many Flames fans liked the jersey. As close as I've ever seen to 100% positive reviews on it.

So, I've kinda missed out on the AHL this season so far. Do teams in the Pacific end up playing less games than the rest of the league?
By pure PPG merit, would Grant be leading the league in scoring? I'm bad at maths.

Looks like he won the fastest skater contest in the AHL all star skills. I didn't know he was that fast. Pretty big for a fast guy.

Skates, hard on the puck on the cycle, a mean wrister (RH'd too), great on faceoffs...What a home run by the pro scouting if he even plays one more NHL game this season.

He's fairly lean. 6'3 and 200 lbs.
I'm not completely shocked he won fastest skater as you see him moving pretty good on breakaways and obviously he has some speed. Plus looking at the other names on the list, maybe one other I would have put ahead of him.
