Again, last game day one was a gong show and I got way too carried away along with a few other players and it was disastrous for the town. I’m not trying to fly under the radar, but I am trying to not get carried away when we still don’t really know anything.

I would assume this would prevent us from filming something and posting it on youtube as proof hmmhmmcamo.

The rule you quoted is summarized by "Basically anything outside the thread itself being used to confirm yourself is against the spirit of the game"
I suggested posting a youtube video of a random number generator. How does that confirm oneself? How is that any different then the screenshots of the random generator last game?

"You cannot quote any outside communications in the thread."
Seems to imply it wouldn't be allowed to me.

I'm not seeing that in the rules...to me it sounds like you can't use anything to prove your own identity in the game.

So I'm a little behind on the goings on from tonight, but can anyone fill me in on why we are so worried about these groups/cults and not hunting for scum? It's turning into day 1 from game 2 all over again.

Maybe ask Mazrim for a ruling on that then as there is some ambiguity. I think using an outside source to prove you did something honestly is against the rules.
Screenshot seems to be pushing it, but there's enough uncertainty (like multiple attempts) that I can understand letting it slide. A video? I don't know about that one.
But fine, I can see then you thought it was viable. I do think you need to contribute more than you have.

To chip in my experience, I was told no screen shots from the twilight thread and no exact quotes were allowed. If I wanted to refer to something from that, had to be paraphrased. And that was in response to just wanting to put up what the Master of Twilight had said and anyone in the thread on Wednesday could have seen if they were there.

If they are cults with changed win conditions we need to deel with them today or lose. But I think your advice is good. Ignore it and hunt scum.
Were you in the observer thread?

No, I wasn't on for that so when you guys were talking about it I just kind of skipped through that because I have no idea what you are talking about.

I think GGG means observer thread for outsiders and dead people, not twilight.

So ignoring the whole cult thing because I'm not really sure what that is about….
Oling seems to be accusing a bunch of people, I kind of fell into that trap last game and it didn't really help us, so I have my eye on him for now. Wood and Drury jumped on GP_Matt when he spoke about RD and his internet availability. That seems odd to me, because last game we had the same sort of situation (forget who it was) and we lynched them pretty hard and they turned up town. I would have thought we would have learned our lesson after that, so it makes me wonder if they are scum. Though I supposed it's possible they didn't follow along last game? I don't know but it just stuck out to me.
Did any of the above get addressed, or has it all been swept to the side with all the cult talk?
Also I was getting pretty irritated it took so long for everyone to notice there were 2 night kills! You have no idea how painful it was sitting there and not being able to say anything.

If you accept to go in the observers thread you're not allowed to play I don't think. At least that's what happened for me in game 2

Oh sorry, no I wasn't in the observers thread. I thought you were talking about the thread that popped up after the lynch and then disappeared.

Matt was jumped on because he mentioned RDs Internet availability when no one else knew what RD was up to. Either being mafia together or being real life friends were the only 2 ways to explain it. I don't see how it seems odd he was called out

I've accused people of what they did though. Those who wanted the quick hammer I don't think should have done that.
But the only people I would say I'm 'after' right now are Delgar and GP_Matt for inconsistencies in their logic/stories, at least to me.
Delgar's whole kill Bowser, Mario and DK died, simply doesn't make sense.
GP_Matt saying he wasn't concerned about a lynch with 11 votes and multiple people ready to hammer doesn't seem logical - unless he knew people were going to unvote for him quickly and the only way I can understand that is if he is mafia and mafia were voting for him. Also he joined a group out of what appears to be blackmail and kept it from the town.

Well it was odd to me because of last game. I can't remember who it was, but we thought they made a post that was meant for the scum thread and hung onto that and went after them hard. It is way too easy for mafia to jump on a mis-spoken post and steer the vote. So when you and Drury jumped on it right away it made me wonder if you were scum.
I'm just playing catch up in here with everyone, so I am trying to give my input on things I noticed that I didn't think anyone picked up on. I'm not saying I am sure you are scum, it just put you on my radar is all.

Again, like Wood and Drury I'm not saying I think you are for sure scum but I just though you were all over the place. I'm not sure if you are over-eager town, or if you are scum making noise.
I just wanted to get some thoughts out before I dive into the thread a little more and do some research on these cults.

No I understand what you're doing, I don't blame you. Just giving an explanation
If I remember correctly last game agulati mis-spoke and said something confusing. In this situation I felt like Matt said something no one else knew which is a huge red flag. His explanation made sense and with RD flipping town he obviously told the truth. But at the time it seemed like a clear mafia slip up, he knew something about RD no one in the town ever read
