It's not a liberal/Toronto Star conspiracy, now its a police conspiracy. And for a side of delicious irony, Doug Ford thinks the Police Chief should resign. The Fords need a reality show in the worst way.
Quote:
Toronto Councillor Doug Ford went on an offensive against Police Chief Bill Blair Tuesday morning, accusing him of being part of a political conspiracy against Toronto Mayor Rob Ford and calling on him to step aside while the investigation into the chief magistrate continues.
The older Ford brother made the comments in radio interviews on AM640 and Metro Morning, amid sharpening tension between the police’s senior echelons and Mayor Ford, who is refusing to speak to detectives.
The mayor was told not to attend a gala fundraiser this week hosted by the chief, according to his chief of staff, although the police deny Mr. Ford was “uninvited.”
“I’m not too sure what political games the chief wants to play but obviously he has created a massive conflict of interest,” Councillor Ford said on John Oakley’s show on AM640.
“He needs to step down until the probe is done, there is obviously a bias right now moving forward in this city with the police chief against the mayor of this city. It’s not up to the police chief to decide in the next election who is going to be mayor.”

'Yes I have smoked crack cocaine,' Toronto Mayor Rob Ford says; 'Probably in one of my drunken stupors'
Considering how often he gets into drunken stupors (and based off the stories we see it has to be extremely frequently), he's gotta be close to full blown addiction right?

I'm convinced that Rob Ford has lied more times than he has told the truth in his life.
It's such a shame that so many people in Toronto (and Canada in general), vote for people based on social status and family background, otherwise a guy like him would never have had a chance to be in such a high position (pardon the pun).

Actually he didn't lie. The reporters just didn't ask the right questions

Rob Ford has just admitted he has smoked crack cocaine. Says he never lied, reporters just didn't ask the right questions.

The correct question was "Have you ever smoked crack while being drunk?" The media just asked "Have you ever smoked crack?"
Stupid media.

If that story were true I would see no reason for him to resign. Smoked crack once at a party has a drinking problem. I just don't believe that is the whole story.
It is a fantastic admission though. Just enough to say he addressed the issue but not really enough to force him to resign and enough for people who support his policies or who have intense bias against the liberal media to continue to vote for him. Well played Mr. Ford.
