Getting a proper LF isn't a big deal.
You have Davis who hits really good against lefties, get a similar guy who hits good against righties. Platoon them.
Hechavarria, even though he's a black hole with the bat would be a replacement level guy because of his defense at 2B. If you get another guy who's adequate as well like scutaro, you can have a decent middle IF while not costing 3 arms and 4 legs.
DH, is also easy to fill. Get a guy who can hit. It doesn't really matter that much, anyone will do. A current day Frank Thomas (older guy that still has something left in the tank)
The Rotation spots will cost something though, either dollars for a Grienke, or less so for a Marcum type or prospects if you go the trade route.
All in all, though, it should not be overly difficult to find guys for those spots even though it seems ridiculous right now.

My concern is now I think the Jays enter 2013 with far more questions than they have answers, and 2013 was thought to be a year they could legitimately contend for the division/wild card if things went right.
The 2013 Jays have huge question marks at LF, 2B, DH, and would need to add 2-3 arms in their rotation. That's a really tall order for AA this offseason.

I have to agree, way too many questions. Middle infield which was a strengh last season, has become a weakness, anyone remember when Lawrie hit for power? Lind fell off the board (like some projected), Bullpen which was supposed to be a strength still has questions and the rotation......Gose & Hech aren't ready to hit MLB pitching.
Hopefully this is just a dysmal year for all and next year everyone will be back to where they were projected..but that's a tall order to say the least.

I don't know if there are more questions. Kelly Johnson was a question mark coming into this season as being the long term answer and all he did is confirm the answer is no. Esocbar took a bit of a step back but i would still call im a starting calibre shortstop so i don't think there is change there. Lawrie's in his 2nd season, first full, so i don't think it's fair to question that at all and it's not like he played poorly. 1b has been answered with EE and DH was a problem. Starting rotation was a questions mark and still is so for me no change there.
I think the bullpen actually sets up well for next year. YOu get Santos back, in all likelihood, and you have Janseen who has proven he can close and then add in LIncoln, Delebar and a healthy Perez back in there I would say you have answered more questions especially the posiblity that Happ goes back there too.
I think it's a little dissapointing just because of the injuries but I agree with caged it's not a dissapointment. I think the Jays still have alot going for them if they can get 1 top 2 starter and 1 top 5 starter, as well as figure out what they want to do at 2nd. When healthy I think there offence is good enough to have Hech or Escobar play 2nd or SS even with their bats.

I have a tough time watching games late in the summer and september, this season I stopped watching around july 2nd or so. Romero imploding, all the injuries, I just can't stand to watch the team play terrible. Not to mention the fact that John Farrell makes some Cito Gaston like silly decisions.

Yeah, I have been watching less and less the past month or so. Just a(nother) frustrating season.
In Jays news, Hech and Gose were sent to Vegas with Morrow and Escobar returning.

Maybe he thought he would strike out less with a new hairstyle. So far it isn't working.

Joey Bats looks like he's back in DL again with the wrist problem. Finally the Blue Jays are starting to get better, injury just keep on stopping from being a contender.
