Stupid Saturday strikes again. How many more times do I have to sneak out of work early to watch this final?

And yeah, the wind was like a gift from the Scottish gods. Berdy's flat winner game needs good conditions, while Murray can always fall back on his passive rope a dope style. On the other hand, the storm probably saved Djoker's life. That guy who schooled Delpo didn't know he had a match today.

Congrats to Filip Peliwo for grabbing the US Open boys title. Two majors in a year! And he reached the finals in the other two. Impressive.

Haven't been following tennis like I used too but decided to watch the women's US Open final today. I watched the first set and can not handle any more!

The "OOOooooohhhh, OOooooo, OOoooooooo" Is beyond annoying and truly unbearable.

that set was ridiculous, the quality is so bad due to the wind but so tense..

Murray won the tiebreak 12-10. The 1st set took nearly 90 minutes!

This is playing out even slower than the Aussie final, which I didn't think was possible in a match not featuring Nadal.

My pvr picked up an hour of Dr. Phil for some stupid reason and I only missed like 9 games because of it.

The conditions are really bad, neither guy can go for winners so they're just keeping the ball in play.

Of course this wouldn't have been so bad if they played at noon when the sun was up!

Joker got it to 5 but I think that took too much out of him.

Raonic losing out to the eventual US Open champion...makes it easier going down.

Davis Cup on Sportsnet...Pospsil up two sets to none in the first match of World Group play vs South Africa. Not sure why they would choose to be in one of the secondary courts in Montreal in front of 1000 people (partly cause it's Friday afternoon) instead of a few thousand in the bear pit the Corral has been in the past for Davis Cup play.
