Any word if there's outdoor patio seating to watch the game at the Rose and Crown?

Yes - I called Rose and Crown yesterday and they said the patio is dedicated to the football crowd, and the game will be shown on the patio somehow.

Sorry I forgot to mention this. The pub said the patio TV would be for Cavs games. We were able to get 2 tables reserved for it just now.

Does anyone remember from last year how long it took Onesoccer to have the game available to view after the match? I unfortunately can’t watch this one live

IIRC it was on demand after 24 hours.

It was usually 24 hours or more. I tweeted them to see if they’re planning a bit better than that due to the wonky schedule making it hard to watch live. They replied “very soon after the game ends.” Which basically says nothing.
I guess we will wait and see.

Fairly even first half I thought. Cavalry seem to be relying on thumping balls into the box from the wide areas as Forge are defending well through the middle of the park. That strategy may pay off when Haber enters the game.
Also Peter Reynders wearing a "Black Lives Matter" shirt is...interesting...

#### Gareth Wheeler. Every foul by a Cavalry player should have been a red. Every foul by a Forge player was a dive. Kyle Bekker is the greatest player ever. I had forgotten how much I hate Forge and how the league fawns over them.
A dominant first thirty followed by a tired looking hour but a draw sets us up well to move on.

Gareth Wheeler is an idiot.
It clearly hits his side and his arm. If your arm is away from your body in a way that could affect the direction of the ball with intent (make your body "unnaturally bigger" and above the shoulder) and your arm makes contact with the ball... it's a red card and a PK.
If your arm is away from your body in a way that could affect the direction of the ball without intent and makes contact, its a yellow and PK. Which is what happened.
Correct call. 100%.
God, reading that twitter feed made me sad... some Canadian soccer fans (and commentators) are clueless.

When they announced James Sharman coming in to One Soccer, I hoped it meant he took over commentary duties...he hasn't, hopefully it means he sooner than later nudges out Wheeler.
Won't be this year but hopefully next.

I have seen penalties like that NOT given, especially in real-time and without the benefit of VAR. It was absolutely the correct call, although I would've forgiven a ref that called that one "torso" on the pitch.
But if that was in a major European league and that went to VAR - penalty. Ref got it right.
And make no mistake - if the tables were turned, that would've been a penalty against Cavalry 10 times out of 10.

Also:
- Wheeler is comically biased and painful. But we already knew that.
- Camera work was a bit shoddy and I hope that it improves, but I'll cut some slack.
- I didn't mind the fake stadium graphics, actually.
- Don't count on OneSoccer to get the replays up promptly. I hope that their 12-hour turnaround improves when these weekday morning/afternoon games happen.

Thought it was a bit of an ugly game, probably deserved a red on both sides to settle it down as some of the tackles were ridiculous.
Will be nice when Northover is back to get Zator and Trafford paired together in the middle.
Should we be worried that Cordova could not even get in the game despite us trailing? I thought he was our Malonga replacement?
Also eat it Forge you jabronies.

Looks like the set up at the Rose and Crown was pretty good yesterday. Spoilered for size...

As for Cordova, I know Wheeldon changed up his formation to a 3-4-3 to throw Forge off, all with players who played big roles on the club last year. Perhaps he goes with a more typical 3-5-2 or 4-2-3-1 against Valour and uses Cordova. There are 7 games in 23 days so there will be a lot of rotation.
