Little is the worst pitcher on the roster. If Schneider literally went with ANYONE else there I doubt we are losing our minds like we are right now.

I would have gone Dominguez, or Hoffman, or Lauer, or Fluharty before Little there, and probably Fisher as well. Just brutal.

Damn it, of course gotta make it hard. Winning twice in a row isn't even unlikely for the Jays at home, it's just annoying because this game was winnable if not for the terrible decision to go with Little in that moment.

Sounds like the manager isn’t going to sleep tonight.

Bad situation? He had a clean slate to start the inning. He created the bad situation

Absolutely this is not littles fault, never should have been in that position.

Dumb managing aside the difference in the game was the Jays getting no runs with the based loaded nobody out, while the Ms got 4 in the same situation.

Sure. But when you have the lead in the 8th it's yours to lose. And they did

Still I never want to see him pitch again for the Blue Jays for the rest of his life

Blair and Barker also ripping this decision and not being company men. Refreshing to know everyone thought this was a terrible move (Little).

Ya, High leverage late in the game up 1 against the heart of the order is a bad situation to put a shakey reliever in. He failed obviously, but HE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE

If he went with Hoffman and that happens, people would have been more pissed at Hoffman. He's your closer and is supposed to get the big outs. He did his job last night.
Little should have only pitched if it was a blowout for either side.

He still owns sucking so bad
He’s only good when people chase his junk. Other teams stopped doing that mid season
Now it’s only walks or hard hit balls
That’s it

I’m still pissed. I hate being pissed off after sporting events. And every stat I read about how everyone in the universe knew Little sucks and every quote from Schneider defending his braindead decisions just pisses me off more.

Not sure if it was Schneiders fault, Littles fault or my fault.
Jays 0-3 in this series when I have to leave the house for a bit for whatever reason and 2-0 when I can stay and watch whole game. Was the worst when notifications popped up on my phone on those HR's.

From every single metric Raleigh is a better hitter from the right hand side. Managerial malpractice of the highest order.

The mistake was probably going to Varland too early and then you only really had Hoffman left as a leverage arm in the important moments. Still should have been Hoffman in the game.
Honestly I might have went to Fisher before Little, at least Fisher went in a big moment against the Yankees and shut them down vs Judge and Bellinger
|
While Hoffman is not a great option, he's a far better option than Little. I put Hoffman on the mound and put Raleigh on first base. Then I trust Hoffman to get the outs and avoid giving up runs. If he can't, you tip your cap and get ready for game 6.
But honestly, I also let Gausman pitch longer and don't go to my bullpen so soon. Pulling starters in the 6th is a habit of Schneider's, and it's something he has to reevaluate.
