Maybe they roll with 4 starters, use Ryu out the pen as the long man. Idk, Richards has been terrible for 2 months. Like DFA worthy terrible

That was almost certainly Ryu’s final appearance as a Jay. It was a decent run.

There might be a team that picks him up for pitching depth but, a guy at that age coming off a second TJ surgery and can’t regularly hit 90mph, isn’t likely a prized commodity.

I’m willing to bet that Ryu isn’t going to be on the playoff roster. I’d rather have Bowden Francis come out for long relief than Ryu. Ryu doesn’t have experience coming out of the bullpen and really needs a lot of warm up to start. Even then, he is a risk of getting pounded by a good lineup.
