What conservative party is Harper talking about? The only right-wing party that currently exists is the Wild Rose Party, coincidently named the United Conservative Party. He also realizes that it's conservatives that massively put this province in the ####house by 2015, right? That's why they were voted out...
Any other old politicians we can dig out of retirement to tell us what they think? What's Jean Chretien got to say on the matter? Can we get him to do it dressed like Lemmy from Motörhead?
Friendly reminder that your Alberta tax dollars right now are going to Preston Manning to produce a COVID report, an experienced man of healthcare, with many healthcare degrees, that is absolutely qualified to speak on such issues.

Alberta eyes legislation on involuntary treatment for some drug users.
What could go wrong? That dumb ol charter full of rights probably get in the way but you know, worth a shot, right?
I love how they want to impose medical treatment on people's bodies, and yet vaccines are apparently an abomination of human rights and government overreach.
Can't have it both ways, bus boobs.

I trust the UCP to #### this up in the worst way possible, but it's not a bad idea at this point. Status quo is totally uncompassionate, and other strategies have failed to get any traction (though it'll certainly take a multi-pronged approach).
The Charter of Rights and Freedoms doesn't stop criminals from going to jail against their wishes. There is obviously a ton of nuance and due process to design here, and I'm sure the UCP will manage to appoint a drug dealer or something to this committee .
